They would be friend the mother's and then be condescending towards the fathers that they had questions to ask. I don't understand why the school is still opened. We tried to find out what the monthly payment was Because my son had to pay half and his ex-wife would not give him that info she would just verbally tell him what he owed and the owner would not give my son any information on the prices. It quickly became apparent this was not the case. I did not feel my child was emotionally supported at the pre-school, there was lack of attention on the students during play time (I saw two students physically hurt each other while behind the teachers back), and I personally had to take away two dead cockroaches from a group of students who were playing with them during recess. The teachers refused to let my child eat his lentil chips claiming they were unhealthy while simultaneously offer Ritz Crackers and plastic wrapped processed cheese slices during snack time. During the first week, I picked my child up from day care, only for him to show me a massive 4 inch cut down his arm. To my surprise not one of the teachers could explain how or when it happened. My child attended for a total of six days before I decided that his well-being was not prioritized in the school. I will say, there are many people who love this school for their students. It's possible that we got a very unfortunate look into their summer programming. Ultimately, I did not feel my child was safe and decided to find another pre-school.

Your child will take time to settle into the new environment. It took my oldest nearly six weeks. The school will work with you, so be patient and don't blame the school if your child isn't ready.

What I got instead was several weeks of back and fourth emails, and a check that was finally recieved via snail mail aka USPS. I thought: "FINALLY", cause... hey, we're talking a little over $1,800. I go to deposit it and lo and behold.. IT'S NOT SIGNED. Yes, seriously, they sent me an unsigned check. From there, I went back to the email thread, going back and forth a million times with accounting and random people who never introduced themselves. An aggressive email from a random staff member named Patricia, who never introduced herself or her role in the whole situation. I didn't receive any phone calls, no apology, no accountability. Weeks go by, and I don't receive another check, so I filed a dispute with my bank after attempting to resolve this for over a month. Guess what? I finally heard back from accounting. They tried to get me to cancel my dispute so that they could issue a check again. I said nope! Thankfully, a week or so later, my bank was able to refund me the entire amount after literally faxing them our email thread and the unsigned check. Please do not bring yourself or your children here. The staff here is unprofessional and incompetent and needs to brush up on their customer service. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

I was given very detailed information about what the program would entail and was able to see a class in session before enrolling. As my son completes pre-k in a few weeks, I have to give a shout out to Ms. Mayte and the team (especially Ms. Seena and Ms. Miriam) for all they have done for us. My son started the school year pretty shy and apprehensive and has blossomed into a bubbly and social preschooler. It's been an amazing thing to see. The school gives us regular updates throughout the week on the Brightwheel app and anytime I've had any questions or needed some time to chat, I would hear back from his teachers promptly. We get photos through the app as well that are always exciting. Sometimes it's a snap of playtime, a celebration, or completing a milestone and receiving kudos. Along with the basics of letters and numbers, my son has gotten to learn about different cultural holidays and has loved telling us what he's learned. He always seems to be doing a new activity and doing the half day program has definitely been the right choice for our family. Ms. Mayte took the time to really get to know our son and has been instrumental in all areas of his development this year.
