I was given very detailed information about what the program would entail and was able to see a class in session before enrolling. As my son completes pre-k in a few weeks, I have to give a shout out to Ms. Mayte and the team (especially Ms. Seena and Ms. Miriam) for all they have done for us. My son started the school year pretty shy and apprehensive and has blossomed into a bubbly and social preschooler. It's been an amazing thing to see. The school gives us regular updates throughout the week on the Brightwheel app and anytime I've had any questions or needed some time to chat, I would hear back from his teachers promptly. We get photos through the app as well that are always exciting. Sometimes it's a snap of playtime, a celebration, or completing a milestone and receiving kudos. Along with the basics of letters and numbers, my son has gotten to learn about different cultural holidays and has loved telling us what he's learned. He always seems to be doing a new activity and doing the half day program has definitely been the right choice for our family. Ms. Mayte took the time to really get to know our son and has been instrumental in all areas of his development this year. I can only hope that he will continue to have great teachers for the rest of his academic journey!

My younger daughter was originally afraid of water, yet Coach Tom guided her gently to get comfortable in the water at her own pace before teaching her swimming techniques. Whenever their strokes are not proper, Coach Tom offers targeted corrections and demonstrates standard movements personally. Even after they have finished full swimming courses, we still sign up for several lessons with him every summer to refine their techniques. I also appreciate that I can plan ahead to meet the designated staff member who is scheduled to pick up my child (since pick-up staff may vary). Communication is excellent, you can text the driver and even the owner directly with any questions or requests, and they respond quickly. As a parent who once spent hours searching for a trustworthy transportation service for my 4-year-old, I can honestly say this program stands out for its professionalism, safety, and genuine care. What I got instead was several weeks of back and fourth emails, and a check that was finally recieved via snail mail aka USPS. I thought: "FINALLY", cause... hey, we're talking a little over $1,800. I go to deposit it and lo and behold.. IT'S NOT SIGNED. Yes, seriously, they sent me an unsigned check. From there, I went back to the email thread, going back and forth a million times with accounting and random people who never introduced themselves. An aggressive email from a random staff member named Patricia, who never introduced herself or her role in the whole situation. I didn't receive any phone calls, no apology, no accountability. Weeks go by, and I don't receive another check, so I filed a dispute with my bank after attempting to resolve this for over a month. Guess what? I finally heard back from accounting. They tried to get me to cancel my dispute so that they could issue a check again. I said nope! Thankfully, a week or so later, my bank was able to refund me the entire amount after literally faxing them our email thread and the unsigned check. Please do not bring yourself or your children here. The staff here is unprofessional and incompetent and needs to brush up on their customer service. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

On his first Discovery Day, my son cried almost the entire time because it was his first real separation from mom. But the teachers were incredibly patient, gentle, and loving. They held him, comforted him, and truly cared for him throughout the day. What meant the most to me was how often they updated me--sending pictures and notes through the ProCare app so I knew exactly how he was doing. Being able to see that he was safe and in caring hands helped ease my anxiety tremendously. Since he had such a tough first day, we decided to bring him back for a second Discovery Day to see if he was more ready. This time, everything changed. When my son saw Miss Anna and Miss Sandra, he recognized them and calmed down after few minutes and enjoyed his lunch and snacks. He looked so much more comfortable and ended up having an amazing time! I received tons of photos again, and I could tell from the updates that he was playing, smiling, and really enjoying himself. When I picked him up, he seemed genuinely happy--loving his teachers and even interacting with friends. I left feeling so relieved and confident that he might actually be ready for daycare. Before all this, I had spoken with Adrian, the Director, because I had a lot of questions and concerns as a new mom. She was incredibly understanding and patient, answering every single question with transparency and warmth. After meeting her and seeing how she ran the school, I felt reassured and gained a sense of trust that I didn't have before. Overall, Primrose Livermore made what could've been an emotional and stressful transition into something positive and encouraging. The staff truly cares, the communication is excellent, and the environment just feels safe and nurturing. We're now planning to send our son to Primrose San Ramon once it opens, since it's closer to home--and I'm truly hoping it will be just as wonderful as the Livermore location.
