Called DES (owner/Dealer) he send £200 to change 4 tyres and £150 for brake pads. After using car for few weeks car started complaining on transmission and Struggling in Roundabouts and junctions to move fast. After calling 100 times Des arranged car to be picked up and fixed. Then I came to know car has reconditioned gearbox and need rebuild again. He kept car for 1.5 months and again chasing everyday, unfortunately he never picks the call because he know he is a CHEAT! Sent me car after 1.5 months which was fixed by some cheap garage in london who only give Fake warranties of 6 month. Never use this dealer is my recommendation. They are cheats.

All was fine, but there was told there was no AA warranty as stated on Autotrader, but Les told us if we have any issues, just to get a quote locally, as we are 100 miles away and he will pay for the repairs. A month later we realise the air conditioning is not working (bought vehicle in winter, where we were assured by Harley it was working). Looked into this, to find the fuse for the A/C had been removed and the system had no gas in it. Rang Laurels on at least 6 occasions, each time to be told someone would call me back, but received no call. Left an email with Harley no response. Left a message on the online form, no answer. Eventually got through to Harley once he was back from one of his many holidays, after several more calls, he asked me to get quotes. After ringing every company that does re gassing in the area, the best price I could get was £100. Harley eventually agreed to pay £50 by text. Took the vehicle to be re gassed, only to be told there was a break in the pipe, the repair and re gas were to cost more than £260. Texted, called and emailed Harley and got no response other than his Dad was not around. Sent a final message, email and message on site and over 2 weeks later still no response. In summary I have received nothing for the £260 repairs to our vehicle, not even the £50 promised. Have complained to Autotrader, Trading Standards and my bank and still nothing from Laurels.

This is a MOT and service centre that also sells a small amount of cars. I've bought my last 2…read moresecond hand cars from them in the last 7 or so year. One car eventually died, but the other one is still going strong. I also take my car here to be serviced and for the MOT. When work has had to be done on the car it is always done to a good standard and the prices are always agreed in advance, so there are no surprises when the bills comes! This place is busy, so it's not always possible to drop by and get the work done there and then - even if it's a minor job. Having said that, if you pop in or call you can normally arrange a time for either later that day, or at worst for later that week. I recommend this place if you need an old car looked after.
