There are 14 rooms, and it looks like a few of them may get changed out occasionally. I'm not sure if this is on a regular basis or if they are swapping out less popular ones. But it is a good variety! You can book a 1 hour slot for $30, and it's a shared experience for up to 15 people. (Or you can book the whole experience for a private event for more) My friend and I were very extra when it came to preparing for this because we wanted to take advantage of the amazing lighting and setups! It's fun to go casually in play around, but if you're planning on getting some serious shots, I would definitely suggest planning ahead. While we planned for 3-4 outfit changes, we were not able to get through everything we wanted within the hour. We were fortunate enough to book a time slot where we coincidentally did have the whole place to ourselves, and the staff was nice enough to let us finish up, so we were very lucky! If there were other people that we had to share with and wait for/take turns with, we definitely would not have been able to do everything we wanted, so plan accordingly and prioritize the settings that you want to use the most! Only a couple things to be aware of that I think could make the experience even better: - there are ring lights for every single room, but none of them had a phone holder. At first we were disappointed because we wanted to take pictures together, but the staff member said that she was more than happy to help us take them. When we asked for a tripod, she actually did have one available, but only one. So if there were more, I think that could definitely help the experience, especially for people who are camera shy and asking strangers to take photos for them. Or just be aware that you should bring your own tripod (if that's allowed) - this one is just a tip: the cords for the ring lights will sometimes be in your picture depending on where you plug it in. The pictures turn out way nicer if you can plug them in a different outlet that won't be in your shot, but understandably it depends on if the cords end up being in the way of other people! - maybe even making this a 75 minute experience would really give you all the time you need and worth the $30.

If you've never worked with butterflies, I can tell you that they have the attention span of a fruit fly and are apt to fly away in a blink. But Doug was willing to accept the challenge. He arrived exactly on time for our appointment and already knew a perfect location for the subject. I used as many tricks as I could think of to make my little friends cooperative and then hoped for the best. We had SO much fun, with as many as 10 butters in some of the photos.
