Needless to say, there were plans, revised plans, and a lot of communication with us and the town, AND the insurance adjusters (we had 4 before the repair was completed). Marcello was steady throughout. We must have gone through at least 4-5 revisions and alternative ideas to find one the insurance company would agree to (my house is a balloon structure, meaning there are no supports in the middle of the house. This required posts to support the new hip rafter, and supports for the post on every floor, so Marcello was creative). He and his crew made sure the repair was sound, safe, and when he had to put a beam through my living room to support my house, he made sure it looked absolutely beautiful (and added another to balance it), AND as though it had been part of the house since the 1800's. After selecting our appliances, our plans were tweaked to enable a custom fit for each appliance. Work began in the spring of 2016 and lasted about 5-6 weeks. We had a wall demolished to give our kitchen - family room an open plan. All Becker Corps. workers were professional and exacting. They took no shortcuts. They completed work timely, and with a decent level of quality. Overall, I was very satisfied with the end result of their work. I had also asked them to quote projects for finishing my walk-up attic and building a detached garage - in both cases, they came out to discuss the project and took measurements, but they never provided a quote or even a call back with a reason why. I did follow-up on one occasion, but received no reply. While I thought that perhaps this was a outlier situation, I had passed along a recommendation to one of my co-workers. Again, Becker Corp met to discuss, but never followed up with a quote. I guess if Becker Corp decides to take on your project, you'll probably be satisfied with the work they do, but you might be wasting your time.
