I couldn't decide on whether to give this place 2 stars or 3…read more I'm going with 2 because they have 3 receptionists and the place still moves at a snails pace and they forget to tell the waiting people if there are delays with equipment and appointments. Granted I walked in off the street to just get a few x-rays of my shoulder. I didn't wait very long and the lady that actually took the x-rays was rather rude and abrupt. Told me off for my tragus ring that didn't come off and how young people these days go and get piercings without thinking. Yeah thanks. Just take the damn x-ray huh? If that was all it would have been great. However she then proceeded to manhandle me into the right "pose". As in jerking me around. I was not impressed. She proceeded to them tell me she was sorry for jerking me around into positions but how else is she meant to get the right shot? Uh, here's an idea, how about you know, asking me like normal people do?! Unfortunately this is the only imaging place locally so you just go get your stuff done and leave again.

Kind clear pleasant concise direction by the technician is always good. No appointment is required and they bulk bill. I was told X-ray prints would be available in 5 mins but they didn't come through for 25 mins after shots were taken so make sure you ask them to check if your scan is ready if you're waiting longer than 10 mins. Nice 50" HD TVS to watch while waiting. WARNING: street parking only so pray to the parking gods for mercy or catch the train. Campsie train station is extremely close.

A modern, clean and sterile healthcare facility owned by Primary Health Care. You would be forgiven for thinking that you are being treated at a small private hospital. The lounges in the waiting area is comfortable and inviting, and their on-site x-ray and pathology facilities are pretty good. It is great to be able to have these pivotal tests done at the one place. You do not generally have to wait for too long; unless you turn up immediately after work during a weekday or at lunchtimes during the week; other times including weekends are the best times to come here. The Doctors are fairly good; although the consultations with a couple of them could go for a little longer. It is great they ring you to come in if your test results aren't that great; and also if a Doctor promises you that they will send you something; they honour their word and do this without fail. Definitely a great medical centre for when it is needed.

If you don't know what is wrong with you don't bother going here, because the GP's are only interested in how much time you need off work to write on the doctor's certificate, not actually diagnosing any illness. Waiting times can be horrific, and it's not a nice place to wait. Rather pay $15 gap and go somewhere that doesn't bulk bill, just to get proper treatment. I have had arguments with GP's here about my condition, in the case of it already being diagnosed but needing a new prescription or something. Also have heard horror stories of friends going there also justifying their own personal behaviour and health.

My surgeon informed me nothing could be done to help me other than total shoulder replacement, but…read morethe new shoulder would most likely wear out in 15 years and the next replacement would never be as strong. The doctor who provided me a second opinion, confirmed this diagnosis, but referred me to Dr. Kaushik. Dr. Kaushik studied my shoulder under ultrasound since an MRI can't be done due to my metal implants. He identified a tear in my rotator cuff tendon that had been missed by the other doctorss. He then injected me to fix the tear. After 2 days, I was free of pain - I went from 5 doses of Panadol daily to zero. Now, thanks to Dr. Kaushik, I'm fine! I have good strength, range of motion, and am pain free.
