Ms Meredith & Ms Candace extraordinary. They always there for me since the day I step into the office. I'm those lady who love to ask question and sometime I felt I might disturb them but they are very professional. Everything was smooth. My journey, payment, anaesthetic, hospital everything was perfect. I have been wanting to do this since 2015 and my dream came true. Before making the decision to choose sleeve, I was in the dilemma between Mini Gastric Bypass and Sleeve. However, Dr K explained to me clearly on my first appointment with him and my hubby and I agreed to do LSG. Alhamdulillah things work out well. The day my hubby sent me to hospital, I was so scared to do the surgery but the hospital team calm me down. They were very friendly and professional. You know what's the best part? My visit here was very positive! The directions were easy to follow but if you need assistance finding your way, every staff member is happy to help you and very friendly. From the Barker Street entrance just follow the purple path to the elevator, go to the 2nd floor and continue on until you see the sign that says Billington Centre. Easy peasy. Sheree schedules appointments and also checks you in upon arrival. Due to Covid, scheduling was dramatically impacted so I'm guessing Sheree fielded lots of frantic or distressed people wanting to know when they could schedule their procedure. Sheree is friendly and professional and helpful and calm(!). I applaud her and thank her! This unit has several nurses and members of staff, all kind and friendly. Stephen Butler!!! I don't know if I kept him laughing or if he kept me laughing but, I can not thank him enough for his professionalism, friendliness, too. Gareth and Stephen have a fantastic rapport with each other and it radiates to everyone else. Gareth gave me my post-procedure information and instructions, also answered my questions and another friendly face of this unit. Dr Sorayya is the anaesthetists' intern who explained everything, what to expect, and answered all my questions. Naturally, each member of this well coordinated team followed up with me afterwards, making sure I was doing alright. I was pleasantly surprised to have a follow up phone call from Stephen the day after my procedure. The teamwork and professionalism exhibited deserve kudos to every member of this team and of the unit as well as the Billington Centre. One of my very close friends (hi Sal!) just punched out a baby (hi Raphael!) and, until I can find him a red eyemask and a pair of sai as a welcome to the world gift, I swung by P.O.W. Private for a visit. For such a monolithic complex it's remarkably easy & straightforward to park, navigate and get where you're going. From car to kisses was about 3 minutes, with a 1 minute break to help a blind man out the front of the sliding doors find a bench to sit down on. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, the nurses nicely starched, and everything had an air of well-looked-after-ness. In place of the jello and custard my patient event had a fresh chicken salad sitting in her food table - hospital vittles have come a long way. Even got to see a bit of boob in the new baby feeding room. Of course, I'm sure they're paying for the privilege, but still. Schmick.

Following neck surgery to relieve pain circa 1997, I thought it prudent to avoid chiropractors who…read morewere "bone crunchers" for any future adjustments since they seem unable to accurately adjust only one vertebra. Being fearful of damaging the operated area, I therefore set about trying to find a chiropractor who could successfully adjust only those vertebrae which required moving. I was always sceptical about the final neck crack which seemed to move vertebrae that had just been adjusted by the practitioner. That movement seemed to me to be only in one direction and always the same direction. Was it necessary? What is/was its' purpose? Did it move the vertebrae to an unwanted position? What impact would it have on the operated area? What if I was not as relaxed as the practitioner wanted? Would I suffer permanent damage to my spine or worse? During said research, I discovered the Activator Method Chiropractic Technique (Activator) which causes pressure to be sited specifically at the target area thereby eliminating the possibility of moving other vertebra(e) which do not require adjustment, thereby disturbing other areas which do not require adjustment as may occur with more traditional chiropractic methods. Reasoning that this may be the treatment system required, I started with Peter circa 1999. Adjustments are quick, painless and no neck cracking at the end as per other chiropractic techniques. The above questions/trepidations are no longer part of my chiropractic visits.

Having recently embarked on a great PT regime, it quickly became apparant that I had some abnormal restriction in my left arm. At the recommendation of my PT group I decided to abandon my regular Physio out in the burbs and give Momentum a try. At the time I figured that one Physio is likely as good as the next so choosing one close to work makes sense. While I am delighted that I made this decision, I stand corrected! The Physio treating me (Marty) is outstanding and far more thorough than all of my previous Physiotherapists. At my first appointment Marty spent a full hour thoroughly assessing the restriction in my mobility and strength, constantly questioning me as he prodded and poked, and reached the conclusion that in addition to some general restriction he could manage, he needed to enlist my GP's assistance in referring me for an MRI or CT scan. Rather than send me to the GP to explain things myself, he wrote a detailed account of his assessment and made the request on my behalf. He also had the GP letter ready for me in less than 24 hours, so that I could get what I needed without delay. Turns out his judgement call was spot on, and thanks to his thorough approach and fast action I have already seen a Neurosurgeon for an opinion on managing the apparent nerve damage in my arm. In the meantime I have continued treatment with him and after only 2 sessions I have more range of movement in my back and neck than I have had in 10 years. I am sure that he has achieved these results so quickly because he spends the entire 30 minute session focussing on the problem. There's no 15 minutes of heat pack, 10 minutes of gentle massage, 5 minutes of stretching and off you go, which is what I had experienced from my local Physio's. I still have a way to go to having the range of movement I want, but having achieved so much so quickly I am very confident that unrestricted movement is in my future. The fees at Momentum are the same as I have paid elsewhere, and they send you a txt reminder of your appointment the day before. Even better, they have early morning and evening appointments so I don't have to take time off work to attend.

When I was 19 and collapsed my lung, they fixed me again. Now I'm 22 and getting my wisdom teeth out, they know what's up. A huge plus of Pittwater Radiology is that it bulk bills; hurray! No messing around with Medicare here! It's also very quick - if you make an appointment, it's generally honoured within a fifteen minute period. The receptionists are kind, as are the radiologists. I'm particularly fond of the calls to remind you to come in - what service! There is on-site parking (a huge advantage on the busy Forest Way), and conveniently close is a medical centre (if you have, say, collapsed your lung and require immediate medical attention) and a shopping centre (in the case of running late, you can grab a coffee).
