I went to this practice several weeks ago because a "doctor," who was not my PCP, but part of the…read moregroup of doctors where my PCP sees patients, sent a referral in the mail for me to see an oncologist. As you can imagine... he scared the H E double hockey sticks out of me! I was floored! To receive a referral out of the blue and by mail was overwhelming! The appointment had already been made for me with Dr. Sawhney. I trusted my life once again to the Great Physician, knowing He would put me in the best hands-- and He did! He's been practicing for many years; graduated from the Univ. College of Medical Sciences, Delhi Univ, New Delhi, Delhi, India in 1989. He works in Tamarac, FL and specializes in Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Sawhney is affiliated with Broward Health Coral Springs, Florida Medical Center a Campus of North Shore and Northwest Medical Center. He is professional, sensitive, soft-spoken and caring! The office building is located near University Hospital in Tamarac. Parking is a bit challenging, but the facilities are nice, and the staff is wonderful. The nurse was so sweet, and the phlebotomist who drew blood was the best I've had in a long long time. She found my vein from the get-go and she was very gentle. I was so happy, I gave her a Starbucks gift card! Dr. Sawhney was as perplexed as I was that I was there and said the referral was not only premature, but that they had skipped a step. I cried tears of relief, and he was professionally comforting. He set me up with a referral to a Gastroenterologist and I was thankful the staff made the appointment directly over the phone with the other specialist's office. Otherwise, it may have been several more weeks until I would have been able to set it up myself. My experience was 100% satisfactory and although this isn't the type of business that anyone wants to visit, should you need to, I highly recommend Dr. Sawhney. One last thing: Should you need to consult with an oncologist, please feel free to send me a short, to the point private message; no need for details. I want to pray and be whatever part of your support team you'll have me be. We're in this journey called life together--never alone!

Horrendously run office. The doctor added an in person meeting the beginning of my moms 4th…read moretreatment , which usually takes 45 minutes turning it into a 3 hour appointment. No one notified me before hand so I could make arrangements with my work. my mom's not able to drive herself or hear the doctor because of severe hearing loss, so I need to be there. Also their waiting room seats about 8 people and every time we go there are about10-15 people standing in a small cramped space. They've now begun to make no patients, many of which are elderly caregivers wait outside the office in the heat of the summer. It's shameful.

I went to Dr. Rubinstein for a breast reduction after discussing my goals very clearly. Initially,…read moreI wanted to be much smaller, and after he advised that going too small would not look proportional on my body, we mutually agreed on a C cup result. Unfortunately, after surgery, I remained approximately the same size (around a DD) and did not achieve the reduction we discussed. To make matters worse, one breast is now visibly larger and sits higher than the other. I later learned that a 30cc larger implant was placed on my left side based on the doctor's own judgment. I never requested for one breast to be larger than the other, and I do not understand why that decision was made. Now my left breast protrudes noticeably out of bras and clothing and the asymmetry is very obvious in everyday wear. I brought bras and shirts into the office to physically show the problem, and during the examination Dr. Rubinstein himself acknowledged that the left side is larger and higher than the right. Despite admitting the unevenness, I was told I would still need to pay again for corrective surgery. I understand that no cosmetic surgery can guarantee perfection, but I do expect reasonable symmetry. I am very conscience because people have noticed and pointed out that my left breast is larger than my right. I will be posting pictures and more reviews.
