I wanted to write a review a while ago but it's not easy talking about your issues openly with…read morestrangers. This treatment was the only thing that has ever helped me. Years passed I tried all sorts of anti-depressants, some helped a bit for a short period, some made it worse. I grew up in violence, drugs and verbal abuse, this led to PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. The treatment worked, yes it cost more but the results are worth it. I did use my credit card and wish the insurance would see this as a treatment just as much as the anti-depressants they easily cover. I can't speak for some as I seen Anna had a loved one who relapsed or didn't take the treatments seriously. As for me this treatment stopped me from drinking, self medicating and fixed the problem in which was causing me to binge or run from my problems in the first place. The experience for me was about learning, growing and turning a new leaf. If you're going here not to change or not look for solutions, I find that it will be hard for anything to truly help you. You must work on yourself as well as use Medical treatment if you feel you need extra help. This doesn't mean refuse Counseling, outreach programs or whatever may help you with your recovery, whatever that maybe. As for the staff, they are wonderful and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. The whole place gives you the feeling that they are there to help you, offered Counselors if needed and Dr Patel is very thorough with his patients, talks you through the whole process and what to expect etc. Being honest is key to the success of this treatment and I can find no better place to go to than Midwest Ketamine Center. We are planning on moving out of state and I don't think I will be able to change clinics because of trust, I most likely will fly in for my 3-4 month Boosters I hope this review helped. Ketamine has had a dramatic impact on my life and the early results show it's much more successful than anti-depressants being used. Whatever helps you on your path to self healing is a positive. I've been managing a post-traumatic headache for over a year. The neurologist I've seen regularly recommended that I try a headache specialist after exhausting other available options. Dr. Robbins was one of the recommendations he made. I called in early November and was greeted with a brusque, "Doctor's Office" by the person who answered the phone. After clarifying that I had called the correct office, I explained that I was a new patient calling to request an appointment. She asked if I wanted an appointment with the nurse practitioner or the doctor. I explained my history, unsure of what the correct answer would be without any context. She acknowledged I should see the doctor and then told me their first available appointment was January 14. I expected a wait. And I realize Dr. Robbins is apparently a good doctor, which translates to being busy. But when you've had a headache for almost 500 days, waiting another two and a half months feels intolerable. I agreed to the January 14 appointment, figuring I would find a way to make it work and that it would be worth it. Until. Until. Until the office called me back and told me Dr. Robbins would now be out of the office on January 14 and would need to reschedule me. For a later date. Are you effing kidding me? I hope other people have better luck. I provided full availability to them, willing to bend over backwards to get some relief from this headache that's been plaguing me. The front office and nurses all very nice and helpful and kind. They can do own blood tests there so no need to go to 3rd party blood test company.
