I have been suffering from migraine headaches since childhood after a bad accident in which my skull was cracked open. Then about eight years ago, I got hit with nerve pain after having surgery to "cure my migraines!" If it was not for Dr. Robbins and his expertise on how to deal with headaches and nerve pain, I would not be here writing this review. Dr. Robbins genuinely cares about his patients, he always takes the time to listen. Through his knowledge as a neurologist and a pharmacologist, we are able to control my pain through Botox injections and medication. I highly recommend Dr. Robbins if you suffer from any sort of head pain. He is rated as one of the top ten headache specialists in the country. His staff is extremely caring too! Dr.Robbins has been a wonderful doctor and he worked to help me find the treatment & medicine that would help me the most. He actually listens when you talk to him and doesn't give up trying to find the patient The best medicine & treatment for their condition. For myself, he pretty much helped to give me my life back. Not that I was totally pain free, but he did work to find the best meds that helped my condition the most. He helped me to get most of my functioning back, and got my chronic pain under control far beyond the level that any other doctor was able to. In full transparency, my review is of my experience trying to see Dr. Robbins because, disappointingly, I never made it past a terrible experience with his staff. I've been managing a post-traumatic headache for over a year. The neurologist I've seen regularly recommended that I try a headache specialist after exhausting other available options. Dr. Robbins was one of the recommendations he made. I called in early November and was greeted with a brusque, "Doctor's Office" by the person who answered the phone. After clarifying that I had called the correct office, I explained that I was a new patient calling to request an appointment. She asked if I wanted an appointment with the nurse practitioner or the doctor. I explained my history, unsure of what the correct answer would be without any context. She acknowledged I should see the doctor and then told me their first available appointment was January 14. I expected a wait. And I realize Dr. Robbins is apparently a good doctor, which translates to being busy. But when you've had a headache for almost 500 days, waiting another two and a half months feels intolerable. I agreed to the January 14 appointment, figuring I would find a way to make it work and that it would be worth it. Until. Until. Until the office called me back and told me Dr. Robbins would now be out of the office on January 14 and would need to reschedule me. For a later date. Are you effing kidding me? I hope other people have better luck. I provided full availability to them, willing to bend over backwards to get some relief from this headache that's been plaguing me. It's disappointing that their customer service is so poor and more disappointing that I would be penalized for a change in the doctor's schedule after waiting 10 weeks to be seen. read more

Brooke is what makes this clinic a must for headache patients. I do not think I can fully and accurately review what an amazing person she is. She will not stop in finding the right treatment for you. She will "fight" for you with insurance and reach out to drug companies to get you the medication you need and not spend your life savings. She is patient, kind, compassionate, and never stop educating herself about headache treatments. She is honest in saying I can not fix this today but I will stand besides you and not quit trying. I am BEYOND overwhelmed with the kindness, compassion, and accommodations the staff gave me this week!!!! I have been suffering from migraines for almost 3 years as a result of a car accident. My husband , out of desperation , started searching for other treatments to help resolve my suffering. He found Robbins Headache clinic! I had had the pleasure of being treated by Brooke. Finally I had someone listen to me and not say I'm middle aged and that's the cause. She had already began treating me! I received Botox and a much better understanding of what may be going on. Dr. Robbins has always been at the cutting edge of the medical technology, bringing new treatment options to his patients and always ready to face the challenge of a new migraine "type" as has almost always been the case with me and he never gives up. Dr aRobbins and his staff are first rate. I have struggled with debilitating headaches all of my life. I've been to all the big name places - Mayo, Cleveland Clinic, University of Chicago, etc., but Dr Robbins was the only doctor who actually listened and believed the severity of pain and other symptoms.
