If you're looking for a realtor, then I can't recommend Ali highly enough. My husband and I met him when we stopped by an open house he was showing. He was very personable and spent a lot of time talking with us about the pros and cons of different neighborhoods. We were particularly impressed by how knowledgeable he was about the types of construction and maintenance issues we were likely to run into in various areas. We were working with another realtor at the time but weren't having any luck finding the right house, so we put our search on hold. Six months later, when we were ready to start looking again, we remembered Ali and contacted him. We gave him a loose description of our ideal house and, within a few days, we were touring several homes that fit our needs. At each home, Ali asked what we liked and didn't like and used our answers to fine tune the next list of homes he presented. Pretty standard so far, but that's when the real "Ali magic" started ... not only did he listen to what we said, he also filled in a lot of blanks for us and steered us towards homes with features we didn't even know were important to us (more space versus more rooms, privacy, etc.) and away from others that weren't a good fit for our needs. I met Ali Abree when the owners of the house I was renting put the house on the market; as their agent, Ali went above and beyond to be considerate to me as the tenant. Ali was our buyer's agent this summer. We were already really educated on both the market (from using Zillow or Redfin daily to look at the houses available) and the location (we were looking in my home town) and we debated if we even needed a realtor to buy a house. I am so glad that we found Ali! We just purchased and closed on our dream house at a much lower price than we would have gotten on our own because of Ali. I could not imagine a better agent to use. We recently purchased a house with Ali and through the entire process Ali and his team were there to help and ensure a smooth transaction, and that we got what we wanted and what we needed (not always the same thing). As soon as you meet Ali you'll understand why he's the best; he is intimately familiar with the entire process of buying and selling homes, even the parts that are not his job. This helped so much as we navigated a difficult escrow with other parts of the team who were not always up to the task. He has in depth knowledge of the area and specific tracts and their "quirks," such as where we're likely to encounter septic tanks, tracts that have foundation issues, and areas with problematic plumbing or electrical. This ties in very well with his experience in construction and home renovation; as we're looking at houses he's able to point out issues that need to be addressed and often has experience remediating the same issues.
