When I called his nurse Neil said "He'll read your echo, when he gets around to it!, and don't keep calling!" and then silence, for weeks. They had abandoned me as a patient.. They destroyed my trust, and any notion that they were concerned for me as a patient, and showed zero empathy. Not to be left ignored, I went to Cedars Sinai Cardiology Group in Los Angeles. They saw me one day after calling, and I was given extensive exams and blood work. In one day. And I got my results THAT DAY. Turns out exams and blood work showed NO heart failure. I have reflux from a hiatal hernia.... So, avoid YRMC Cardiology in Prescott. Go to Mayo in Phoenix if you can!

The staff is completely rude from the moment you walk in and even violated my rights asking me my health history which they have no right to do as I am not a patient. The physician is above rude and disrespectful. I cannot stress enough to seriously consider a different cardiologist when looking for medical care for yourself or a loved one!

At first, he seemed confused as to why I was there but finally figured I needed a monitor which, they arranged, and he also prescribed a TEE procedure that he did not do in his office. His office supposedly contacted the hospital to arrange. The hospital said it was unusual that a cardiologist wouldn't do this procedure himself and said they would have to contact other cardiologists to try to arrange. Never heard back after repeated contacts to both Gordon's office and the hospital. As for the heart monitor, I returned it per their instructions. However, I never received the results. I contacted Gordon's office numerous times for the results and my Primary Care Doctor tried at least 2 different times with no results. However, Gordon's office was very punctual in billing me and demanding payment for the amount the insurance companies did not cover, even though they did not give me the test results. My advice, look elsewhere for a Cardiologist.
