However, standards have really slipped, portion sizes have shrunk and the mezze offer that made it fairly good value for money was removed long ago. My shawarma wrap tonight was pretty gross - it was absolutely dripping with oil; while the plate of lamb we ordered arrived cold and the batata harra soggy and not at all flavoursome. And to top it all off, our food took 1.5 hours to arrive. Pull your socks up, Al Souk! I'm afraid this will be our last order!
