I have nothing but great things to say about Oneida Healthcare, especially Dr. Vanderhoff, Dr. Mena, and the ICU team. In particular, Brooke was wonderful in her care for my husband and my family as we dealt with this unexpected emergency. When his condition worsened, Dr. Vanderfhoof facilitated his transfer to Upstate, where the staff also cared for him with skill and compassion until his death. I cannot recommend them more highly. We were on vacation, in a strange town and a strange hospital, and we felt cared for and loved while we were there.

He explained everything thoroughly and things went exactly as he said they would. He also followed up right after the surgery. Dr. James Dennison performed the surgery without a hitch. The doctors all seemed extremely nice and knowledgeable. They also had extra soon to be parent educational courses for free. while we were going here they changed their women's health location to a nicer newer location, though the old one was also pretty nice really. Overall everything is pretty clear and spacious and its a nice place. The hospital is on the older side but all the side buildings are very new and give good service.

Not only that, but everytime we are here we are in the waiting room for 2-4 hours. Then when we finally get a room, we are still in there for hours. It's like the nurses and doctors are discriminating my friend from being a teen mom. The care is absolutely awful, they don't listen when something is really wrong. They also take a tremendous amount of time to do anything.

I needed to find a new doctor quickly and was told they were accepting new patients. My medications…read morehad run out and could not be re-filled and I explained my urgency to them. I visited the office to schedule an appointment. I was given an application to fill out. I said I'm not applying for a job, I want to make an appointment. They said I needed to apply to become a new patient. I've never heard of anything like that nor has anyone else. I have excellent insurance and no serious medical issues. I completed their application and left. A few days later I received a call saying all of their doctors were NOT taking new patients. I told them I clearly stated my urgency when I stopped in and was told they were taking new patients. Now I find out that wasn't true and I wasted 4 days waiting. They CLEARLY don't care about people's well being. In visiting many other doctors in my area I found many are under the Family Care Medical Group. I visited 5 with similar bad results. I would not trust these insensitive, uncaring people with my healthcare.
