My DRIVE WALKER NITRO stop closing properly because a screw was missing from the red device causing it to fail to click into position when folded. I called the South Bend store and was told I could get it fixed at either the South Bend or the Elkhart Store. I chose the Elkhart store because it was near my home. When I arrived, the representative straight from the door was busy eating. When I described the problem, her response was "It's supposed to do that". When I told her that was not true, she replied "we don't fix anything at this store". When I told her I was told by a representative at the South Bend store it could be taken care of at either store, she interrupted her lunch and took the walker to the back room. In less than a minute she returned and told me it cannot be repaired at Elkhart. I then left the store, angry. Fortunately, I found a screw in the back of my car. It must have fallen when the walker was placed in the car. I had the proper tools to fix it myself and did so. Problem solved! Will not go to the Elkhart store again nor recommend it to anyone. read more

I am so disappointed in Alex home Medical it's not funny. They lied to me from the get go. The almost 300 I put down was suppose to be my portion of the bill for the CPap now I am told no it was a set up fee. Then they refused to explain to me why I am paying 175 for 9 months on a machine that was bought out right by my insurance company to the tune of 1500. Thankfully my insurance company intervened and straightened it out. NOW there is a matter of about 300 left they will not answer my questions on. So my wife had an appointment to get a medical device fitted. When we were called into the back room, I was thrown out and made to feel like the bad guy because I wasn't wearing a mask. I'm sorry that I served this country and have medical reasons that I can't wear one. Besides, if the "nurse" is wearing one she should be safe. Very disappointed in this place. read more

My husband had surgery, and I wanted to get him a lift chair so it was there when he got home. He kept telling me he didn't need one. Well, as soon as he got home and sat in his chair he couldn't get out of it, then later he realized he couldn't get in and out of bed either. The next morning (Friday) I called Alick's and asked if they carried them. They said yes and could get one out on Monday. I told them he couldn't get in and out of his chair or bed, and they said they would bring one out today. I was at work so they called me when they were on their way, and I met them there. Great Service. My husband was glad I was looking out for him. He really appreciated the fast service. We were done with it, and I called them a couple days ago and they picked it up. This place is a joke! I've had script in with them since January. I had to do a 3-way call between the manager and my Dr office. the Dr office caught her in a few lies and this 3-way call only happened after Alicks gave me the run around. my script is for a medical device that helps me with pain seeing as there is such a large opioid crisis do you not think they should be more than willing to help me quickly ? My doctors have tried since January to put me on opioid I refuse I know the device helps the only reason I do not have one now is because I had a house fire the one I had previously melted.
