I experienced age-related infertility and went through 10 failed IUIs at the UCLA Fertility Center, which unfortunately wasted our time since I was 42 and denied alternative approaches such as Chinese herbs which was critical to reduce my high FSh). I didn't care for Dr. Peck, as this office felt like a money grab. She explained various procedures to me but I left feeling like I didn't trust her and that I was just a number. Every woman's body is different, therefore what may have worked for one woman, may not work on another. I know a few people that have had consultations with her and she basically gave all of us the most expensive treatment plan even though we all have different health issues. & when it came to her having to speak with one of my doctors, forget it - she was no help at all. She also came off as uneducated on a few topics, which scared me. Additionally, I had a health concern and she made a joke about it which wasn't funny to me at all. As for her office staff, it's a revolving door. Here today, gone tomorrow. I went to her office several times before I decided to move on from her, and every time I came, there were new nurses. I needed my lab results and always got the runaround. At one appointment, I waited an hour to be seen, only for the front desk lady to tell me I needed to reschedule because Dr. Peck was unavailable. I consulted with Dr Peck two years ago at 43 yo. I had a first child naturally at 41 and was trying to get a second but was having difficulties. My AMH was 0.9. I like that Dr Peck is very thorough and detailed oriented and she looked at my tests but also looked at my husband. She started us on supplements right away to get a chance to improve eggs and sperm quality, which is something not all Drs do. She recommended three rounds of stimulation max. After the first round I had 5 eggs retrieved, and got 3 embryos. After the second round, I had 14 eggs but only 1 embryo. At this stage, I decided to send the 4 embryos to genetic testing to see if any was even good. And after the results came back, we learned that we had one sound embryo that we could use! We agreed to do an additional test that Dr Peck recommended before the transfer and then did the transfer. We did the acupuncture on transfer day and it worked! I am now the proud mom of 10 months old a baby girl and 4 years old son. I recommend Dr Peck to all my friends. read more

We could not be happier with Dr. Alison Peck. We are 21 weeks pregnant with a healthy boy, all thanks to her. We had seen 4 fertility doctors previously (between UCLA and SCRC) all were totally fine and legit, but unfortunately no success after 3 IUI's. Unlike SCRC, Dr. Peck conducts all her own ultrasounds and has the best bedside manner of any OB or Fertility Doc I have experienced. She is quick and makes you feel comfortable with what can be a sensitive and emotional process. I love Dr. Peck because she didin't pressure us into an expensive IVF procedure, instead she put her full effort and support into trying another round IUI's, which is what we could afford. Also, she was also the only doctor who informed us that one of the known studies attributed to male factor is that "males who drink more than 4 alcoholic beverages a week, have significantly poorer lab results." I believe, with the combination of her more aggressive approach, my husband's commitment to quit his occasional drinking for 3 months, we had a successful IUI on the FIRST TRY with Dr. Peck! I never waited more than 10 mins for an appointment. Street parking was always easy to find. I found the office clean, updated and well appointed. Her nurse Kimberly always had a smile and was highly responsive, and we never had an issue with the billing. My partner and I had researched every fertility clinic and specialist within a 15 mile radius in LA. We found Dr. Alison Peck online and immediately scheduled an appointment to meet with her. I am someone who not only seeks a highly qualified doctor, but I look for someone with compassion and incredible bedside manner--someone who can answer all of my questions when I'm panicking and put me at ease when I am stressed or concerned. I look for someone who is thorough in their work and can explain in detail each step of the process as we go along--I found all of these traits in Dr. Peck. As with any fertility story there were a few unexpected bumps in the road and each time Dr. Peck calmly explained the situation and the best path forward. And, on one occasion in particular, she completely went above and beyond to help us through a difficult time. How can I write a review for someone who literally changed the course of my life?! I went to HRC since they were covered by insurance, and pretty much stumbled upon what would become one of the best decisions of my life. I went to see Dr. Peck in March of 2017 and immediately was drawn to her kind and genuine personality, along with her calming manner of explaining the IVF process. She would always stop me from getting TOO ahead of myself, and would encourage me to focus on the next step so that I didnt get overwhelmed. WHAT A GREAT APPROACH, particularly with someone of my over-analytical personality. Flash forward a few months and we were retrieving eggs. My case was a bit more complicated than your average because I also had fibroids that were basically a huge, if not sole contributor to my not getting pregnant. Dr. Peck carefully devised a plan in which we would retrieve the eggs, create the embryos and then remove the fibroids a bit before we implanted. The fibroid removal was going to be a bit of a gamble because if it didn't work, I would have to go in for a full on myomectomy and recovery would have been 6 months before I could do an implant...well, needless to say, Dr. Peck came through and got the fibroid out for me! The clock was ticking on when if/when it would grow back, so we went straight into implant phase. I hear that some doctors are apprehensive about putting in 2 embryos, but Dr. Peck was supportive and even encouraging after assessing my case. We did it...the chances of getting twins was something like 15% and the chances of just 1 embryo attaching was much higher at something like 65-70%. And here I am 2 years later with beautiful boy/girl twins!! Dr. Peck made my dreams come true...even the dream that I never even knew I had. I was nervous to even have 1 kid much less 2 kids, but it was truly God's blessing and Dr. Pecks incredible instinct and talent that put me in this position. I am just eternally grateful for Dr. Peck and her nurses. We were going to HRC for tests and fertility treatments and I can't say enough good things about her and the rest of the staff. I went to HRC for an IUI and IVF before ending up naturally pregnant, but still went there the first 8 weeks of pregnancy for blood work and ultrasounds...and I would have continued there had I not gotten pregnant. I was sad to 'graduate' and move to an OB because I loved Dr. Peck so much...she is knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. She's also patient and always took time to answer my questions...I never felt rushed at my appointments which is important.
