Kiddie Academy of Naperville

These guys are the best! Having distance from my home as a factor, it was between this place and…read morekindercare. The difference was easy to tell... First, all the children at kiddie academy are smiling, laughing, and having a ball. That tells you something big right there! Second, they have an awesome service of taking pictures of my son throughout the day and emailing me fun pictures, when he took a nap and how long, what he ate and how much, and what they learned or experienced like painting, dancing, singing, sign language gestures, etc. Third, it turns out my son has an issue with milk - it was no problem for them to switch him to soy. They're all very talented in their observations of my son and are able to spot things (they caught he had a slight fever one day & they always give me constant communication on how he's doing). The staff at Naperville's Kiddie Academy are the best of the best. The teachers in the infant room were wonderful as are the teachers in the 1 to 2 year old room. Although we haven't experienced all their rooms, while walking down the hallway, they all appear to be interacting enthusiastically with the children, again, all the kids are having a blast, and as Tatiana (who signed us up) said when I asked her why I should sign up with her rather than kinder care - "we really don't compare" and she was right. This place is super clean, new, communicative, and unlike kinder care, they hustled for my business. My son has been here four months and loves it.

We will miss this school so much and recommend this school to everyone with little ones, you will not regret it! Thank you so much to Ms. Brittney for welcoming us with open arms and always having a smile on her face, we will miss you and all the girls teachers so dearly!

We live near a facility and assumed that our little guy would go there - but when we did our visit, it was just ok. Now what? A good friend sends her children to The Gardner School of Oak Brook and recommended the Naperville location to me. When we checked the school out, I cried over how much I loved it (and I'm not a crier - I'm super pale and get very blotchy; it's not cute). We signed him up immediately and have been happy with that decision ever since. First, the location is easily accessible from a variety of locations - we are in downtown Naperville, but have friends who are in Aurora, Sugar Grove, Wheaton, etc. The facility is secure and requires two passcodes before entering the main area. It's also extremely clean - I wish my house was that clean... :) But the most important part of TGS is the care and attention that the teachers and directors give the kids. My son started TGS when he was almost four months old, and even though I knew the school was wonderful, it was still scary to leave him for a full day. The teachers and directors are patient, kind, and caring - both with the students and the parents! They are always available for any questions and concerns throughout the day, and I definitely checked in a lot during those first few weeks of school. They are also available for advice - as a first-time parent, I had no idea when to transition my son to the next diaper size or how to introduce solid foods. The teachers helped us with everything, and have made parenting so much easier. TGS has an app that delivers updates throughout the day. I subscribe to all the updates, so I receive notifications when my son eats, has a diaper change, takes a nap, or does any of the fun activities that the teachers prepare for the kids. We also receive pictures during the day, and we love seeing our little guy having fun with his friends. Our two years at the school have been wonderful, and we plan to keep him at TGS until they kick us out :) Seeing our son make friends and learn so much every day has been more than worth the cost to attend, and we could not be happier with the school!

She claimed she had to look into the minimum age to work there which sounds dumb on her part because how do you not know?!! She never followed up with my granddaughter. We went to Kindercare, Chesterbrook and Crème dela Crème. We chose Pathway. My daughter attended Pathway when we was just 2 years and 8 mos, we started with Miss Miera and Miss Maria. At that time, we are just starting potty training. I think it is more of struggling because I cannot seem to find a way to make her use the washroom. Miss Miera and Miss Maria was so helpful and I guess because of peer pressure she seem to just learn it on her own. A couple of months later, she move to Miss Melissa's room with some of her classmates from the previous room. I think the classroom transfer is based on their age and if there is a spot open in the next classroom. They have different activities to keep the kids busy, weather permitting they would play outside and they also have water days during the summer. After lunch, kids napped and they will have afternoon snacks afterwards. They organize field trips, gardening activities and plenty of drawing/writing exercises. Her last teacher is Miss Robbie, she did a great job of preparing my daughter for Kindergarten. She gave us tips of how we can encourage her to hold a pencil and reading stories. When we started here at Pathway, my little girl was shy and doesn't know how to make friends. My daughter learned a lot and when we started kindergarten she didn't struggle at all, this is all because Pathway prepared them. We left because she was starting Kindergarten and we live in a different school district. She is now in 1st grade and still remembers Miss Robbie and some of her classmates at Pathway, she keeps asking if we can come and visit her. If they were close to my house, my daughter would still be enrolled in their after school & Summer programs.
