Does this business exist? Had a well drilled by them 2 years ago and cannot get a call back. THEY NEVER FILED THE WELL! Do NOT consider working with this business if it is even a business at all. If you need well work, softener work or have any other water related issue, call All About H2O! You don't know me, but I'm not one to typically even write reviews. However since most reviews you read are about bad service, I wanted to write one about great service. I will say (and I do this jokingly as once you read the rest of my story, you will most likely laugh as well); their website is encouraging, but not 100% accurate. States something like you will always talk to a human and not a machine...first attempt a machine! I was like, Ahhhh! But here's the best part; they called back!!! Like that day! I was like, holy moly we are off to a great start! So I set up an appointment and two guys showed up. I later found out John was the owner and Corey, must be the up and coming protege! They checked things out and grabbed a water sample and said it's usually about 7-10 days to get the results back. Well then the holidays (Christmas and New Years) were on us and I knew I wasn't going to be available. So we set up a January 14th appointment to come in and do the work. This was after receiving a detailed quote of what they needed to do based on my sample results, as well as sending me a copy of my water sample results. Melissa, in their office, said they would arrive between 8:30-9 on that Saturday morning and at 8:20 they are in my driveway. Okay, I'm thinking, this is great. I let them in, shut off the well pump breaker for them...helped drain the system and then retreated back up stairs. My curiosity got the best of me a few times and I went down to check it out and they didn't mind, but I really didn't want to get in their way so I kept my distance. By the time they left about 6 hours later, they had installed a new tank, pressure switch, neutralizer and softener system. John provided me with the paperwork as well as walking me through the controls. Oh yeah and they also did a review of the parts and pieces on the top of the well, found some cracked fittings and the system was lacking a check valve, which they installed; all of which was causing air to get into the system. The installation of the entire system, is top notch. I'm not a plumber pipe fitter by any stretch, but you can tell just by the way the piping is routed and fastened that this is something they take great pride in! John and Corey were both great and I look forward to using them in the future for all of my well/water works! I will say I obviously didn't provide the old system much TLC up to this point, however as you will read, finding a good company isn't that easy; but I will say I have found my new well company and plan on having them back on a regular basis to perform routine maintenance as they deem necessary. The Back Story: I can honestly say, All About H2O was not the first company I called. Naturally you speak to friends and coworkers and find out who they used. They gave me the name of "the guy" that I had to use. Great guy, great work, blah blah blah.... Yeah, okay, I called and left messages on their office machine for about 2 weeks. Spoke to my friend who had the guys cell number....I called...surprise surprise, left a message. Well eventually we connected and he came to my house....poked around a bit and then went away....and I mean went away. I called a number of times again....then finally through a text (yes a text) I got an estimate....no scope of work, just a number. Anyway, being me and just wanting to get it done, I said let's do it. That was in early October! By November, I had moved on and was trying a few other companies! I did get another one to actually answer the phone on the first attempt and send out a technician. However he spent more time wondering why my piping in the distribution of the house was only 1/2 in diameter instead of focusing on the review and task at hand. He was good about asking historical questions and number of occupants, but then said he'd have to go back and talk to the owner. Then he looked at the well head (which is still older and you have to go down into a pit to access it) and he said he wasn't sure his boss would even be willing to do the work. Wow, talk about a providing a warm fuzzy feeling, NOT. I will give the boss credit however he did call me back about a week or so later and wanted to come out and look at it; but by then I was so turned off by the original visit, I decided to continue my search. I'm so glad I did. All About H2O is great! Use them and you too will understand why! read more
