Both of my sons have been attending for close to 4 years now. They have SO much fun at school every single day. They are always making a nice craft, and learning so much. My 5 year old is ready for kinder in the fall, all thanks to them. They do awesome STEM lessons with the kids, and we love getting pictures and videos of them daily. Our son has been attending the daycare here since 10/2020. He does a lot of arts and crafts and they have a play gym excellent for indoor use when the weather is bad outside. He is learning a lot and I can see significant growth in his vocabulary and emotional intelligence. Every parent has more than few moments of trepidation hand their first born child over to a school for a first time. They are not familiar with the school and they must entrust their child to a teacher they don't know. My wife and I experienced these feelings of concern when our son started preschool at All About Me in Cresskill. The teachers and director Ms. Pearl were so friendly and kind to my wife and I. If I could give ALL ABOUT ME OF CRESSKILL a BIG FAT ZERO of stars I would do so happily. I had to call the state social services & health department as they lied about their actions, manipulate the truth and very non-apologetic for ALL the wrongs the director and the staff have made. At the time my daughter, less than two years old but more than one, had on a soil diaper for more than 7 hours. She developed a very very bad diaper rash after this incident occurred at this daycare. Our pediatrician had to write a prescription for a special cream as Over-The-Counter pharmacy products did not work. This was the ONLY diaper rash she EVER had or experienced in her lifetime. When my husband & I questioned the staff on how a baby in their care NOT have their diaper changed or checked in over 7 hours is mind boggling to us. The Assistant helper, now director Pearl, deliberately lied to me by stating my daughter's diaper was changed & they used another child diaper similar to mine. Her diaper was heavy soiled because the first shift staffer fell to change her between the shift change of another staffer. She almost had me believing all the LIES LITERALLY SPITTING OUT HER MOUTH. It was "They used another child diaper similar to MINE" line which pull the Momma Bear out of me. Why would you need to use another child's diaper when my child has her own??!!! Now, I was not born yesterday nor last night; I have a dual undergraduate degree, a masters degree, several series licenses & graduated from business school with my MBA. One item we learned, the brand Pampers has an serial code unique to each box which in turn are on each diaper. I ran home to get the box only to find out, what I knew to be true all along; the soil diaper my daughter had been wearing for over 7 hours matched the Pampers sequence code in her nursery at home. Which means she was wearing the same diaper from home when we dropped her off at 7:30 am that morning and now it is pass 5:00 pm. She is wearing the same diaper. When Pearl realized she was caught in her web of lies, she tried to back petal and sprinkle me with more deception and falsehood. She never apologize. Even when the true was reveal. The Director/Owner MARIANNE WAS and still IS the WORSE BUSINESS WOMAN EVER. It took her FOUR WHOLE DAYS before she returned my phone calls or emails ON THUS SERIOUS MATTER. To date she never apologize for her staff neglect or actions. Nor did she show concern of my daughter's painful diaper rash cause by her staff. And I QUOTE her exact WORDS to me "Well I was away attending to my daughter in Rhode Island and these thing happen sometime". I also called BBB. read more

I am not a person who typically complains about much on social media. However, All About Me daycare in Creaskill N.J. has me speaking out. My daughter started out in their Emerson location for the first year and a half until they sold it and gave the parents ONLY 1 week notice. With only one week notice, we didn't have many options to search for a new daycare. In a pinch, we decided to transfer her to their Creaskill location which ended up to be a good decision since it was closer to our home and we knew some of the teachers. After being in the Creaskill location for a bit, management changed and so did a lot of other things. First off is the tuition increase. I understand that tuition typically increases, but to increase by almost 20% is absolutely insane. This is our daughters last year of daycare/ pre-k, and we where contemplating extending her to 4 days instead of 3 days to prep her for kindergarten, but now that's impossible. Last years price for 4 days is now what it costs for 3 days. And to make matters worse, tuition is due the first of the month and they only gave notice today. One day notice is not acceptable. Secondly, they started adding EXTRA fundays/luncheons, which are good for the kids, but all extra $ for the parents. These extras are anywhere from $5-$10 a day when on the calendar. So when you have monthly tuition, $12-$15 a month for pizza Wednesday's, $25 a month for extras and $60 a month for computer lessons everything adds up. Last and not least, nothing is organized. The monthly calendar and email gets sent out after the first week of each month. Which doesn't help to budget your month. The payment sheet for the extras only get sent out the week of, so if your child only goes a few days a week your expected to have payment right away. And even if you do pay ahead and put the money in the mailbox (that they don't check on a regular basis) you get a phone call looking for the money or your child can't participate/eat for that day. Sometimes your money gets lost too. I still have an outstanding check from March for re-registration for this coming year. It really makes you think if management is really there for the kids or just to pad their pockets! The only positive about All About Me these days are the teachers. These teachers work their butts off day in and day out to teach our children. These teachers play a huge role in early child development and are the care takers for our children so we can work and support our families. If this wasn't my daughters last year here, I probably would be looking for a new facility. But transitioning her to another school this year and then kindergarten next year is too much for any child to have to deal with. Plus she made some nice friends that she will be going to kindergarten with next year. So, like I said earlier, the only good part of All About Me are the teachers. Everything else could definitely use some major improving on. read more

We sent our son here for pre-school full time and had an excellent experience. I loved the staff and the manager, Pearl and the teachers, Ms Janice and Ms Laura and all the assistant teachers. They were very helpful and supportive to me and gave me great advice about learning along the way. It's a small school with a big heart. The staff really loves children and all of the teachers get to know your child. They have a nice big gym and lots of activities from yoga to music (included in the price) and extras like computers and "fun day" with a special performer, magician or comedian, and regular pizza days! In the summer, fun day is weekly. There's also an outside play ground. In the summer, they set off sprinklers, and though it doesn't look like much, the kids have a blast! After he graduated (which is a sweet ceremony!) and went to elementary school we went back a few times when our school was closed for holidays and breaks. They were very accommodating and allowed me to bring him in for a day, or a week. He became a "helper" and enjoyed being back in his familiar environment. read more

I feel bad for the woman who had a problem with her child's diaper, and I understand completely how she feels, having had bad experiences with my childrens' care over the years. However, I can only speak to my own experience with All About Me which started in September of 2012 and continued until her last day in June 2016. We never had an issue, and we always felt that our daughter was well cared for, and she thrived wonderfully attending this school. All of her main teachers, Margaret, Samantha, and Janice, and all the others who helped take care of her and teach her were exemplary, sweet and loving. If she ever got cut or bump, i was always called immediately and advised of the situation so that I could handle it how I needed to. But I was also told the details whenever something wonderful happened, too, like her first skip, or new word, or anything exciting that we may have missed during the day as she went from an infant to a toddler to a happy little girl. Administratively, they were always helpful when we needed extra time to make a payment or if we found ourselves a little behind. I honestly do not know what they could have done better over the years, for us. On top of everything, the prices are very reasonable. It was also a godsend that they are open in the evenings until 6:30 when we needed the extra time to get there. I happily recommend this preschool without reservation. read more

My daughter spent 2 years at All About Me. All of her teachers did a tremendous job with helping her be prepared for kindergarten. She is a younger kindergartner, and I was nervous about her not being prepared -- she is now thriving in her current K class. Ms. Janice does a fabulous job helping these kids build their confidence. It has been a smooth transition into public school, and I truly believe that this was a result of the caring teachers at All About Me. Also, the gym is a huge plus on rainy days. My daughter was always physically active at this school. read more
