I have worked with Staffing Agencies in the past, and I as I was looking to relocate to the Phoenix area, I chose to work with them again. However, before I could look them up, I was contacted by All About People agent, Alexandria Gillming. Due to having found my Resume on Indeed, she reached out to me, and thus began my A+ experience with her and All About People. When I arrived at the office for my interview, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by an updated, modern, clean, and inviting building, both on the exterior and the interior. The receptionist, Ethy, went above and beyond to make sure that I had a comfortable experience. Once she'd greeted me, she kept me updated on the activities of my interviewer (both Alex, and the owner, Sherri Mitchell), ensuring that I never felt forgotten about or frustrated. She was extremely kind, and pleasant to talk to. Upon being ushered into the interview area by Ms. Gillming, I once again felt comfortable in the environment. Local art adorns the walls, and the air felt fresh and clean. After speaking with Ms. Gillming, and discussing my skills and job preferences, it quickly became obvious that she believed in me, and my abilities. She began to discuss with me a position that she believed me capable of even though I don't possess a background in that particular industry. When I left the interview, I left holding my head high, encouraged by the feeling of being believed in, smiled at, and valued. I had shaken hands with a professional "encourager", who is otherwise known as a Recruiter. A few days later, I arrived for another interview. This time my interview was conducted by the owner, Sherri Mitchell. After spending time with her, it became quickly apparent to me that possesses a zest for people, passion for her job, and the strong qualities needed to succeed. She handled our interview with finesse, and also left me feeling encouraged and supported. Although my relocation plans have changed, I was given great customer service through to the very last moment. I would never hesitate to work with the staff in Phoenix, and look forward to someday being in the same location as another All About People. They contacted me by phone to set up the next a phone interview. I thought they the actual company hiring, that's not who they are. They are a company, they say hiring or taking people to show them jobs, seems very suspect to me. Looking at their reviews says a lot about them. read more

I'm more disappointed with AAP than angry. Michelle contacted me via email after receiving my resume. A phone interview was scheduled for the following day at 10:30am. I was prepared for the interview and waiting. I never received a phone call. Ok, maybe I had the wrong day & time. I sent an email inquiring about the mishap. No response. II sent another email ( a professional) requesting a return call. Nothing I would be terminated from my supervisor if I reacted so unprofessionally. I'm not sure what happened. I'm educated and professional with a varied and capable work history. I've contacted this company twice over the last five years. I had contacted them years ago and received no response. No automated message. No thank you for contacting us. Nothing. After recently being referred by an outside source I tried again. A week later. Same non response. I had also contacted corporate job bank. They contacted me via phone the same day. Polite, professional and actually thanked me for taking the time to take their call! While they did let me know their positions were well below my qualifications and not a fit (rarely if ever pay above $15 an hour) that they would keep me in mind if anything more suited came up but were very clear it was unlikely. While it wasn't a fit they took the time to call someone that they already knew ahead of time they couldn't place. All about people just ignores you apparently. Was asked to do the COVID-19 vaccines at the Stadium. They were quick to get paperwork together so I could work but trying to get paid is another thing. I worked two hours on Feb 28th and as of today they wont pay me. When I call or reach out, I am ignored or they say they will do something and don't. Just be careful. read more

Many staffing agencies promise to deliver, but hardly ever do. With All About People, I received a call from Bay Muhammed on a Monday and she interviewed me on Tuesday. On Wednesday I was interviewing with the company and Thursday I started my dream job. It was a contract position with the possibility of going perm after 90 days. Please do NOT go here. I was simply calling about my W-2 and Sherri, whom apparently owns all the firm's, decided to cut me off and raise her voice at me when I hadn't realis my voice I was simply asking her a question and she cut me off. When I asked her who she was and why she was yelling at me she stated that she was matching my energy. I found that quit strange because I was NOT telling and I record my calls so I have the recording to prove it. It's really sad that because you own the place you feel as though you can give attitude to a previous worked because you've had a had morning or whatever the case may be. I will NEVER go through them again and will make sure all my family and friends don't either. It's sad when people work money feel as though they can talk to people however they choose.
