I have been to many tattoo shops, and All About You has one of the most lovely, relaxed atmospheres of any I've experienced. The artists and staff are friendly and welcoming and customers are made to feel at home immediately. I went to All About You because I loved the idea of an all-female shop and all of my expectations of what this would bring to the experience of getting tattooed were not only met but exceeded. This shop is also extremely LGBTQ-friendly and welcoming, which is wonderful. Diana, the owner of the business, did my tattoo, and I am delighted with it. She was meticulous in creating and placing the stencil, and just did an absolutely beautiful job on my tattoo. I couldn't be happier with it. I saw the work of many of the other artists in the shop while I was there and it was all outstanding. And for all of this, their prices are incredibly reasonable. I've paid twice as much for lesser tattoos. Needless to say, this will not be my last tattoo by Diana, but rather the first of many. read more

We went into the shop with a super specific design in mind that many shops in Richmond had been really discouraging and not helpful with but Graciela was perfectly happy to accommodate exactly what we wanted! She offers her expertise without pressuring you to get something you don't want. She made the getting a tattoo process super relaxing and enjoyable! Also she teaches you about what she's doing and is really happy to answer your questions! She gives you an exact price estimate prior and really doesn't go over and its definitely cheaper than most of the shops in the city. If you want really good service for a reasonable price check this place out! I checked out so many different shops prior and am so glad I ended up choosing this one. My daughter and I made an appointment with Raine last week. This was my first time getting a tattoo. I never thought that one of my best experiences would involve pain, but it truly was a great experience. The studio was comfortable and appealing. All of the ladies were nice and made us feel welcome. Raine did an outstanding job creating our tattoos and made sure they were exactly what we wanted. She took the time to explain the process and made sure we understood what type of pain or discomfort to expect before she began. My tattoo was on my hand and wrist, and I won't lie, it hurt. Totally worth it !! Both of our tattoos came out gorgeous. These women have talent and they won't disappoint. I'm ready for another one. read more

This place is amazing!!! I discovered All about you almost two years ago when they were in Mechanicsville! Since then I have had several tattoos done by "Dee" and so has my husband, sisters, niece and friends! She is the only person I will let tattoo me now. I have been in many tattoo shops and most of them are rude, quite and cocky. YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT TYPE OF STUFF HERE. If you want a rush job then this is not the place for you. I always call and set up an appointment and there has never been a time that they could not accommodate me. I have been a client for years. Diana (Dee) Burkholder has been my artist all these years. Not only has she done all of my awesome ink work but being the artist she is, she has taken all of my idea concepts and turned every one into great works of art. This place is the best there is. I was 49 years old, and had a huge fear of needles. My Mother had recently passed away and I wanted a tattoo to honor her. I spoke with Diana, Told her what I wanted, and sent her a picture of something similar to what I had in mind. I scheduled the appointment, and that day finally arrived. I went in so nervous, but so excited. I can say by far Diana and all of the tattoo artist there, Are Very experienced, Very professional, and Very Talented. This is the best shop to get a tattoo. Not only is it completely female run, but these are the best bunch of women around. The shop is super clean, and the prices are great. I drove there from the Fayetteville, NC area for my daughter and I to get matching tattoos (daughter's first), and Raine did not disappoint. This place was absolutely amazing! This was my first tattoo and the treated me so well! I told them how I got light headed when I got my piercings and they made sure to give me snacks and something to drink through out my experience.
