I will never step foot into this business again!! I have gone in a few times, for various reasons, each time hoping to receive compassionate care considering the circumstances. Aside from them not accepting my insurance, which was not an issue, the woman that is working each time I've gone in has been very short and made me feel that I was bothering her more than her being there to help. If you are running a business that caters to cancer patients, you should choose your staff that handles customer service very carefully. I will never support this business or recommend them to anyone I know in need of this type of service. read more

Horrible experience drove an hour to get here to go wig shopping because it's the only thing close to me where my insurance will pay for the wig. Arrived and asked to use the restroom and was informed that they did not have a public one and they directed me to use one of the local restaurant or department stores. The service was very rude but what really tipped the scale was the fact that they refused to bill my insurance company. Thankfully I have the funds to be able to pay for a wig and be reimbursed later however not everyone has that money. Their website lists several ways that they support cancer research and cancer patients I didn't get that experience when I went to their store. Totally overcharged. I got taken to the cleaners buying a wig there. Checked on line and found the exact wig for 50+% cheaper on at least 10 different websites. They offered free shipping and returns. This place will not let you return a wig. I feel the fool but maybe this review will help someone else. read more

This is the most helpful place in Marion County for women who are freshly diagnosed. Lori & Colleen specifically have been nothing but helpful to me since 2009 when I was diagnosed. They made sure I had everything I needed before and after my surgery(ies) to be comfortable and feel better about what I was going through. They truly care about the women that come into the store. All of the staff does their level best to take care of their clients. I am proud to call Lori & Colleen my friends, and I couldn't have gotten through the last 5 years without all of their help. read more

My experience has been totally different from what these other people have stated. It is a nightmare to be told you have breast cancer. I found comfort with Lori and her employees. They were supportive to me throughout my experience. My insurance company was charged for the supplies I needed such as post surgical camisole, prostheses, bras. A wig was not something my insurance would pay for, but I still got it at Lori's shop. I looked at buying a prosthesis online. OMG! All the information I needed to find the right fit. I would not have known what to do. Lori sized me appropriately and ordered a prosthesis that would look right. It has been a couple of years and many more surgeries since, but I appreciate the attention, comfort, and kindness I found with Lori and the other women that worked there, particularly at a time I needed it. read more

Not only can they not hold on to their staff, but they sure can't keep their customers. They will tell your insurance company you did not pay, (even though you paid full price while in store) which leads to a whole other fiasco. If you or a loved one is dealing with cancer, do not make it harder on yourself by entering this "establishment". A place that "caters" to people with cancer, should have gotten their ducks in a row by now. Failing business. Do not waste your time. read more

I have been using this boutique since April of 2013, and have never had a negative experience. One comment said they can't hold on to their staff. That had to be someone who was let go for the betterment of the patients. Don't believe everything you read. Oh, and for the Yelper who complained because she couldn't return a wig, kudos to the professionalism shown in keeping within lawful restrictions for returns. See for yourself...don't be a sheep and follow ill advice from supposed patients; nobody is ever treated badly in this boutique. read more
