This project was particularly stressful since I was having to arrange everything from several thousand miles away, but they took away all of the stress related to the water and sewer lines. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, Alisa communicated exceptionally well, responding quickly to my phone calls and emails and keeping me informed about each step of the process. Brandon was great as well. He went the extra mile, took initiative and requested that the sewer utility allow us to tie into an existing lateral line near the street. I had no idea that this was even a possibility, but this extra effort on his part saved me around $10k. Dominick and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to get this project finished in spite of the hot weather. The job went smoothly, quickly, and they left our property neat and clean. All three of them were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. On top of all this, Ethical Plumbing was less expensive than the other quote that I received for this project. I can't thank them enough, and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs in the Greenville area.

I needed a new faucet installed and it seemed like a straightforward job that should not cost an arm and a leg, but, I was charged $630 for 45 minutes of work to install a faucet that I already had purchased. Maybe I shouldn't be blaming the company. Maybe I should blame myself for being ignorant.

I was hoping for something simple like a clogged condensation drain, but it didn't take long to locate the steady drip coming of a 3/4" elbow that feeds the upstairs fixtures. It wasn't an emergency, so I left a message that evening. I got a call back the next day from Jeff, described the situation, and we set an appointment for a few days out. It's nice when the plumber agrees that a non-emergency is not an emergency instead of trying to convince you otherwise so they can charge a higher rate! Jeff gave me a heads-up call to let me know he was on his way, which was appreciated. I showed him the drip and he quickly set about locating the best place to access the pipes. Fortunately, the inside of the full-height pantry was where he needed to cut, so he carefully cleared the shelves and cut a minimal access hole. He was able to use a cell phone camera to peer into the void, revealing the trim nail that was shot right into the pipe. Apparently, a nail can plug the hole it makes for years without leaking, as was the case here. As the nail rusts and corrodes, it starts leaking, as mine had started a to do a week or two prior to me discovering the drip. Jeff quickly sized-up what was needed to make the repair, then cut off the water, drained the pipes, cut out the damaged pipe, and installed the replacement section. He turned the water back on and we bled the air from the pipes. No leaks! Since only the toe plate around the pipe was wet, he suggested using a fan for several days to thoroughly dry the wet wood. He told me what to watch for to make sure no mold set in, and after several days, everything was completely dry, still with no signs of mold. Because Jeff took such care cutting into the Sheetrock, I was able to use the same piece to cover the access hole with a little joint compound to fill the cuts. Not only was Jeff prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable, he also charged a very fair price and did great work. I highly recommend Aaron's Plumbing!

The technician came out started the dishwasher and discovered the leak. He suggested we call others to see about the floor damage. Most importantly, unbeknown to us, he did not unhook the leaking dishwasher from plumbing, disconnect the power, or inform us that he had stopped the dishwasher mid-cycle. We did not think to ask about this, as we assumed the dishwasher would sit there until it and the floor were replaced. No options were given. He charged us and left. We decided to wait to replace the dishwasher until the floor was fixed, not realizing there was a ticking time bomb in the kitchen. After drying the floor out for three weeks, someone happened to fully close the dishwasher door and it started up again and leaked all over the kitchen floor! I am shocked. Who leaves a client in this position? At least give them the option to disconnect the plumbing and electrical or even pay extra and have the unit taken away. Needless to say I have called JB Plumbing back tonight (Thursday) at 9pm when this happened. A very nice service clerk answered the phone but the first appointment they have is next week. I have asked to speak to the owner. At this point I cannot recommend JB Plumbing, unless you are savvy enough to make sure the plumber did his job!

The crew, Tre, Luke and Porter were polite, upbeat and very good at these jobs, from start to finish. Their clean-up was fantastic, not missing a single fragment. And again, let me say these seem like really good people.
