Chad Williams helped scope out our extensive remodel, which included repairing a poorly sealed subfloor, replacing and refinishing hardwood floors, updating lighting throughout, and installing new carpet upstairs. They also addressed a leaking shower pan that had damaged our master closet--fixing it so well the city inspector called it one of the best he'd seen! Once the project started Berlin Nevarez kept us informed every step of the way, and every tradesperson was skilled, respectful, and tidy. As with any large remodel project, any issues were handled quickly and professionally. Don't let the name fool you--this team does far more than tiling. Initially hired All American Tile to remodel my bathrooms. They did an especially outstanding job with master bath. They transformed a 24 year-old shower/Jacuzzi combo with a doorless curbless walk-in shower. Which included floor to ceiling custom porcelain wall tiles, floor tiles, and a glass frameless shower enclosure. They removed/bricked up the outdated 5 x 5' shower block and replaced with a smaller more modern frosted window. The results are stunning. Both bathrooms vanities replaced with beautiful quartz countertops. The results were so nice that I was compelled to update my kitchen with the same bathroom countertops and then made a decision to paint the interior & exterior to match the bathrooms. Jose and Arturo painted my house (inside and out) to make it look brand new. The showpieces were the freshly painted kitchen cabinets and matching fireplace. The exterior was painted fresh and clean, and walking inside, was a wonderful experience like living in a new home with the same address. :-) My sales rep, Chad Williams, did a fantastic job with bathroom remodel recommendations and painting suggestions. He also provided a thoroughly detailed estimate, and I was not surprised by any additional charges. Contrary, there were a few minor changes of things I did not need, and the estimate was adjusted accordingly. All American did a fantastic job replacing our flooring throughout the entire house, as well as recreating our damaged custom baseboards, door trim and minor cabinet repairs. There was no job they could not handle. They were friendly, easy to work with, on time, kept a clean work site and were very conscientious with budget. In fact, they worked with one of their suppliers to get us a better price on a flooring they knew we fell in love with, making it happen for us. That doesn't happen unless you have good business partnerships with your vendors, and that's the kind of company I want working in my home. Overall we are beyond satisfied with the scope of work and will be hiring them again for future jobs. Give them a shot for all of your home renovation or repair needs. These guys are amazing!!!!! We had extensive sheetrock repairs to make, as well as some tile work. Caesar and Kevin, did an absolutely perfect job! Literally, you cannot see where the repairs are. They show up on time, they are clean and efficient, and, when they left every day, they left the place cleaner that it was to begin with. Finally, a contractor to believe in! They were great from start to finish. And what a finish! (see below) We've had several contractors work on this shower over the years, but nothing has stood the test of time. And nothing has looked as good as it does now. First, they back up their work forever. And it gets past on to the next home owner without cost. Second, the price was quite reasonable. Third, they make sure they please their customers. In every aspect, they asked what we wanted and we got it. Forth, wow what they did to ensure longevity! We absolutely believe this shower will never ever leak again. Fifth, everyone was great to work with, even the crew. Sixth, the crew! We'll ask for them by name next time we need them. They are Kirvyn Bravo and Walter Ramos. Finally, the finish - after completion, the drain backed up during the shower's first use. AAT&R sent a plumber out right away. We had a cracked drain pipe at the clean out we didn't know about! Probably didn't show until now because we now have better shower drain water flow??? IDK. But, definitely not AAT&R. But we only had to pay for the repair! Yes, we will use them again, probably without getting other quotes. We believe in them that much. Highly recommended! read more

I was recommended All American after we had a water pipe break under the slab and had some sheetrock and carpet repairs to deal with. These guys were top notch, communicating, being timely and respectful and I cant say enough of the quality of their work. I just had a ceiling repair done by Caesar and Kevin. My plumbers punched through the ceiling changing a water heater. This company and these two guys restored the ceiling to original look and completely cleaned the room after they were done. You cannot tell anything ever happened. These folks were recommended to me through Milton Frank Plumbing. I needed an upstairs shower pan replaced in an all tile shower. I could not be more pleased!!!! They also re-grouted and re-sealed the entire shower, plus another downstairs tile shower (re-grout and re-seal) , plus the jacuzzi tub next to the downstairs shower (re-grout and re-seal), plus the upstairs tile tub (re-grout and re-seal). I literally have BRAND NEW tile bathrooms again!! The workmanship is OUTSTANDING!! They protected all my wooden floors the entire time. Wish I could give TEN stars!! read more

We had our kitchen remodeling and are very satisfied with the results. All workers were professional and easy to work with.

Drilled two three inch holes in Silstone counter to install two vessel sinks. They just drilled the holes and left. I had to install the sinks myself. Received the bill. $500.00. I called the office and questioned why drilling two holes could cost $500.00. The gentleman replied "Card number please." read more

Picking someone to remodel your is super scary after all the stories you hear and see....... but not with these guys. They replaced all my floors to a tile floor, painted all the walls, replaced the tile on my fire place , and oil based paint my doors and trim . They did a outstanding job. read more

I tried multiple times to get them to quote on a job. Receptionist couldn't make it work and mis-scheduled the second attempt. Meanwhile I was able to get quotes from two other companies in the meantime. Not sure what the issue is but they can't seem to get there act together. read more

All American Tile and Remodeling did a complete downstairs reflooring project, as well as upgraded all of our baseboards to a taller, more modern looking trim. We also has them do a complete crown molding upgrade throughout our Home. Their crews, I have to say, are the cleanest and tidiest contractors we have ever had work in any of the Homes we have owned over the years. They were very prompt to arrive on time each day of the project, which was impressive, and each day they left our Home and the areas they were working as clean as if the maid had just left our Home. Spotless! We would recommend this company to anyone needing flooring or remodeling work done in their Home or Business. First Class Company! read more

I called All American tile company to come out to give an estimate for remodeling and tile work. The gentleman came out on the day and time scheduled. He looked at everything I wanted done and said he would go back to his office and send me estimates via email. After several days passed by I never received one estimate. I called several times and spoke to their receptionist to verify that they had my email address which they did. They kept telling me he is working on everything. Well needless to say it's be almost 2 months and still no estimates or any word from this company. I feel if a company doesn't want your business just tell them instead of wasting a customers valuable time. BTW, Abacus plumbing recommend them. read more

Their employees are excellent starting with Mike Esquivel who wrote our estimate to the same 5 workers that showed up all 5 days it took to get our job completed. Every morning at 8 o'clock workers started putting down covering on all our floors, wore booties over their shoes and covered all of our furniture and clothing. Every afternoon they cleaned up after themselves and took up the covering on all floors. The same 5 workers came every day. They were quiet & professional. We stayed at home & we were never disturbed. I was able to take a nap a couple of days while they worked. We had sheetrock, tile repair, painting, custom shelving built in the house, brick repair on the outside of the house & cracks filled in & our built-in oven encasement done over. They tore out sheetrock & wet insulation. All insulation replaced because of a water pipe in the attic breaking & the entire house repiped. We missed a place behind our refrigerator that we didn't know the repiped Plummer opened. One of the workers found it, brought it to our attention because it was not something we had shown at the time of the inspection for the job and took care of it. We cannot say enough good things about this company. They use people that they employe & not day laborers that are not experts at what they do every day. We are more than happy with all of the work. A job manager came by to check on the job the first day, he returned the last day to look at their work and asked if there was anything we wanted to be done differently or was dissatisfied with. There was an onsite worker that acted as a supervisor for the daily workers. We have a wall that is mirrored that they worked over and below without cracking it or getting paint on it. We also had wallpaper and a border that had to be moved, but we had no more of the paper & cannot get anymore. They pulled the paper and border back & worked above it. Once the sheetrock and paint dried it was put back & you can not tell it has ever been moved or worked on. They also moved our refrigerators & freezers for us and saw to it they never had to be disconnected and moved everything back on Friday when they finished before they left. Our house was built in 1959. We had to have bricks replaced outside you cannot tell the replacement bricks from the original ones & I'm the one that took them to point out the places to be replaced. I couldn't find them once completed. The wet mortar was the only way I was able to find them. Please, call this company if you need any remodeling work in your home they can get it done. Our job was so big we were very worried it would be messed up. That was not our experience at all. I have told all our friends to use this company you won't be disappointed. read more

Never showed up for a quote appointment on two occasions. Took morning off to meet with contractor and I had to contact them to confirm they where going to show up, as it was getting late. They called back to rescheduled for the next day and again a no show only this time no one answered when we called. read more

We were introduced to Ry Brooks of 'All American Tile & Remodeling' by our Design Consultant Chandra Stone. He came along and listened to what we wanted and took the plans away to cost. He supplied us with a breakdown of costs, which we found to be comparable to two other quotes. He gave us a time frame of 6-8 weeks for completion. We chose Ry because our Design Consultant had worked with him before and had good feedback. The workmen arrived on 1/27/2014 and they proceeded to tape paper down all along the front hall and walkway and up stairs, this remained in place for the duration of work. In addition the furniture in our bedroom was covered with polythene sheets. Each morning the workmen would put down cloth work sheets on the walkway and stairs to protect the woodwork, and each evening they would lift them and shake them outside and leave the area as tidy as possible. The demolition took two days, thereafter the workmen turned up each morning and worked continuously until the job was completed. The workmen were very unobtrusive, respectful and trustworthy. I felt completely at ease leaving them in my house and giving them a key to lock up. Ry came and checked that I was happy with each stage of the work and when I did have a concern regarding the matching of floor tiles, yes I am a very picky consumer! (unfortunately a few of my floor tiles were a poor color match), Ry arranged for the three I was unhappy with to be uplifted and went and hand picked tiles that were a perfect match - thus making me very happy. All work was passed by the City of West University with no problems at any stage. The work was completed by the 8 week projection. We are very pleased with our re-model, and I hope you will consider him for your next project. read more

I cannot recommend this company highly enough! All American Tile removed a defective 15-year-old shower pan in the master bath, repaired the damaged wood behind and underneath it, installed a new (and far superior) shower pan and laid new stone tile to match what had been there before. This big, potentially messy, job was completed with exemplary care and professionalism. Because of the complicated nature of the job and interruptions caused by the holidays, we had people working in the house for about three weeks. I work from home, and most days I could easy forget they were here. There was absolutely no mess for us and the whole project was executed with minimal inconvenience. Demolition was done quickly and quietly. The new shower pan, really layers of different materials installed over several days, was much more sophisticated than the simple pan that the original home contractor had installed. In addition, it protected much more of the vertical wall area and the sills of two windows (the origin of the problem). The installers were meticulous in their work, which became even more apparent when the tile, much of it cut and beveled by hand, was laid. It was beautifully set and matched almost perfectly with the rest of the shower area. It wasn't until later that we realized that a small seat in the the corner of the shower had been rebuilt using cinder block as a base, rather than the original wood, guaranteeing that it would last longer. We hadn't even discussed it with Ry, and a lesser contractor could easily skipped over it. This, I think, is a perfect illustration of our experience with All American - we got excellent advice and service, even beyond what we asked for (or could appreciate), from a company dedicated to a quality and long-lasting end product. Also, everyone we dealt with was genuinely proud of their work and committed to being the best at their craft. We really dreaded this repair, but All American made the whole thing rather painless, and we're confident that the new work will hold up for the life of the house. read more

Ry Brooks, the owner of All American Tile and Remodeling came to give an extremely convincing job proposal for the shower remodeling/repair work that needed to be done. Compared to all of the other job proposals that I had received I was convinced that this was the right company to go with. That fact that he came with a fancy I-pad to show what kind of work would be done step by step, as well as the professional look of what was being seen in the pictures had me sold automatically. When the process of the work was taking place, I (The General Maintenance) for the building, noticed they were deviating from the work I had seen done in the pictures and discussions with Ry. I was immediately dissatisfied and began to look over their shoulder to see what they were doing. Nothing was being done according to the job proposal/estimate. They began to do things the way they wanted to do them using left over material from other jobs, rather than provide top quality customer service with new material. We were not given options to choose from or samples of tile to choose color. Standard 4x4 tile (specified in the contract) comes in more colors than white. (The actual size of the tile that was installed was 3" x6"). They severely deviated from what was stated in the proposal. This type of job was estimated to take no more than a week instead it took longer than it should have. Member Comments: I have never seen a Remodeling company to ever give such unsatisfactory customer service. Acting like they were the boss and our wishes were unimportant. The owner is deceiving and conniving, and a con artist at best. Having experience working in a remodeling company in the past it is important to make sure your customer is completely satisfied in every way. The customer is always the boss. The company is only in business to make someone happy and pleased. This was not the case with All American Tile and Remodeling, I would never suggest this company to anyone. read more

I called him back because the grout was/is coming up in bedroom and bath and he came looked at it and said yes, he would be back to fix it and never heard from them again. Very disappointing seeing how much money we spent. His responce to me on FaceBook Ry Brooks Dear Mrs. Janie , We remodeled your bathroom in 2009 and you call us back out and asked us to remodel a second bathroom. I came out upon your request 3 years later and touched up all silicone at no charge and reminded you that grout and silicone needs continued maintenance. We warranty our showers for the life of the house! Except materials that brake down over time like grout and silicone. Therefore I'd be happy to come out and discuss maintenance steps that we can preform for you ? I'm not talking about the shower, I'm talking about all the bubbles that came up in the floor in the bed room and hall bath. Ry was suppose to come back and fix them but never returned. Ry Brooks from all American Tile and Remodeling worked at our house in April 2015 after we had a water leak in our wall that destroyed part of our kitchen and our entire dining room. He showed up to assess and then was extremely fair with pricing compared to other estimates we received. We told them that we had a major issue with several events at our house and the work needed to get done as quickly as possible. Ry made sure to send extra people from his team to get the job done on time. After the work was completed, the person whose opinion matters most in my life, ie. my wife was extremely happy with the work completed which was completed faster than we expected. Ry Brooks, the owner, is a very slick, conniving kinda guy. He came to look at the shower and to give us an estimate. He showed up with a fancy Ipad with detailed pictures of how the work would be done, step by step, materials that would be used, the procedure they would follow, etc. right down to the last seam of caulking. We were impressed by this and decided to hire him to remodel the 4 x 4 x 10 foot shower. The project involved completely gutting the shower. It wasn't long (few days) where it was noticed that the quality of material that he had represented he would use was substitued with a lesser quality. He was approached about this, but we were brushed off. During the buildup of the foundation and of the walls and flooring, I asked when he was going to bring samples of tile for me to choose from. He boldly and emphatically said I was getting white tile. I said I didn't want white and that color was not suitable or appropriate. He again said "you're getting white tile". He was totally closed off for any discussion I have NEVER had a contractor TELL me what my color scheme would be whether I am paying $5 or $3550 (total amount he was paid.) He never provided colors or or a variety of different types of tile. (I was dealing with a family emergency at the time so I was focused elsewhere.) I had a gut feeling that he was using left over material from other jobs (to increase his bottom line, of course). We asked his workman if this in fact was the case and they confirmed my suspicions. By the completion of the job, cheap material and unskilled workmanship was the end result. Ry also represented that he was very hands on and would come by daily to inspect the work. He came by twice; the first day to get his down payment and at the end to get the final payment. Completion date was estimated between 5-7 days. It took almost 2-1/2 weeks. His workers did not arrive until between 10 to 11 a.m., then would immediately break for an hour for lunch. We were also told that the work was delayed beause they were waiting on certain material that had just been placed on order. I was confused as to why a cont tractor would not have all the necessary material ordered and available after signing of the contract. OR could it be because he ran out of the left over material that he planned to use thereby slowing down the work progress? read more

Click on Linda M's other reviews and it seems that everyone "screws her over". Ry was great. He completely remodeled our kitchen. Our home was built in 1965. We had brown ugly cabinets that dated our kitchen. He refaced the cabinets, painted them, tore down cabinets, had a wine rack built, and hung drop lighting. Our kitchen looks amazing. We constantly gets compliments. He bent over backwards to get things just the way I wanted them. He said "I want you to be 100% satisfied with our work". I highly recommend him and would use him again. Oh and by the way, he was 1/2 the price than the other bids I received :). read more
