Their response is they can give me a spot at a different location at a rate of over 40% more per month. They wouldnt even honor the price confirmed by their system the night befor. After being there a few months, I take everything good back. Over the winter, when it snowed,…read morenothing was shoveled. I had to shovel my own area to get to my storage unit. The door was frozen and it took me at least 20 minutes to get the lock off. I got one I needed closed the unit and could not get the lock back on because the unit would not fully close due to all the ice. I contacted the manager and he could not help me until I came back. So, my storage unit with all my stuff in it was left open. Two days later, I went back and he was nowhere to be found. Thankfully, it defrosted a little and I was able to lock it. Now I am trying to close out my unit and I am on week two if it being completely cleared out. I have not been able to reach the manager, so I called the main number. They contacted the district manager, he never got back to me so now I'm waiting for the regional manager. This is ridiculous! Not to mention due to all the ice, there was a leak and my stuff got soaked. They also owe me $50 for the past two months. Probably never going to see that. So don't bother renting a unit here unless you're OK with it being left open over the winter and don't mind shoveling, deicing yourself and never want to close it out.

I do not recommend this storage business it has been extremely expensive and they don't even clear the entrances making it not only more expensive than other places but also extremely dangerous. After two months they hit me with a very unfair increase and because they failed to call me to make sure that the bank would approve the new amount (which my bank didn't), they have hit me with an increase and a late fee. Don't be fooled by these people. They are bait and switch all the way.
