BE CAREFUL with what you say when you visit this doctor or schedule…read moreyour appointment with the staff because they will code the appointment incorrectly and charge you for the annual physical that most people with insurance get for free. I went in for my annual physical and they mistakenly coded the appointment as a "problem visit" which meant I had to pay $165 for an appointment that was intended to be a physical. I called several times to try to clarify the incorrect coding and their answer was that it was my fault. According to them, I had answered a question about my health history that stated I had high cholesterol but that was just my history and not the actual reason of my visit. I NEVER said I was going for a problem visit and I was NEVER asked if this was a problem visit because I would have clarified the situation. Apparently, if you go to this doctor's office, you have to DISCLAIM you are not going for a problem visit and even get it in writing so they can't claim otherwise like they did with me. Unfortunately this whole situation comes down to a he-said she-said thing so if they want they can say you stated this was a problem visit and there is no way for a patient to dispute otherwise. In addition, this was handled very unprofessionally by Victoria Montoya the office manager. It took her MONTHS of me reaching out the office, sending emails and messages through WellStar to even receive a call from her to discuss the situation.

When I arrived today for my specialist appointment, they not only did not send the referral--but refused to send it or my previous records. I spoke to both Rae the nurse and the office manager. I had no choice but to pay out of pocket for the entire visit. Do not trust this office for your medical choices.

I just had my annual physical and it felt like I was the only patient he had. He addressed all of my concerns and took time to examine everything carefully. I have no doubt I'll stay with Dr. Mehta for all of my primary care needs, and I'm referring my family and friends to Dr. Mehta also. He's also a great doctor that is sympathetic to "floxies...." which I am one. A Floxie is a person adversely affected by fluoroquinolone toxicity. He truly understands and is there to help. Oh, and his entire staff was friendly and helpful to me. I'm happy to have found a great practice with a doctor I trust.
