It costs $4 for a regular load of washing, and $1.50 per 10mins in the dryer - useful knowledge for winter. The man who runs the Laundromat couldn't be nicer, and was very happy for me to leave the machine running and come back in half an hour when it was done. So, I popped across the road, got a great coffee and croissant from Pyrenees, and sat reading my book in rocket park for half an hour! So much nicer than being cooped up in a Laundromat watching a machine spin. There's parking on road right by the entrance, which is ideal when lugging laundry to and fro. Seriously, we are now reevaluating whether we should even be in a hurry to buy a new washing machine now....

What more could you ask for? The owner/operator is a friendly older gentleman who is happy to help out and always give you a realistic time of when your items will be ready. The Rocket Park Laundromat is also incredibly reasonably priced. In the winter we take our laundry down already washed, and to get two loads dried and folded it only costs about $10! Well worth it! Tip: The Rocket Park Laundromat is open til around 6pm each night, so don't worry if you drop it off on your way to work, it will still be open for you to pick your garments up in the evening!

Easy as, just pop in the duvet - or whatever large item it is you need to gently launder - get a little help from the friendly assistant as to what cycle is the best one to go with and return for pick up an hour or so later. I didn't use their dryers, they have plenty, because it's air drying weather however this is definitely an option.
