I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

I called over three weeks ago, apparently not one of the people I asked to speak with were available, I'm still waiting on their return call. If this is a "service," company, they need to search for the meaning of the word.

Horrible horrible horrible While managing our community…read morethey left our property massively underinsured after assuring us they had procured the best policy for us. It turns out they were the ones selling us the insurance under one of their umbrella companies. Our pool and docks were left out of the policy. There was no way to know until our old insurance agent informed us we currently didn't have the same coverage prior They also managed our painting project. They tendered the bids and selected another company called Turnkey Property Services (again another umbrella company). Not only did they have access to all the competitive bids it's turns out they were able to underbid their competitors. Turnkey then subcontracted it out to a General Contractor called Gemini Contractors who priced the project about half the cost of Turnkeys bid. Gemini realized this and did not complete. They did not bid by the Sherwin Williams specifications and not only is our project not warrantied the community has several stucco cracks due to the painter not sealing the windows properly (again in the Sherwin Williams specification). The painters abandoned the job and then filed a lien against us. We had to settle as it was cheaper than to legally challenge them Another incident where I witnessed a vendor hit a child on a bicycle with their vehicle on the property. The child needed immediate dental care. I informed the property manager. They never informed the board. The board was shocked when I attended a board meeting and requested a follow up the following month. Communities beware
