It's roughly a five-minute drive north of Hillcrest Mall. This store is a part of an Esso station. It has a touchless car wash, a vacuum, and a Tim Hortons with a drive-thru. Parking is interesting. There is one spot to the left of the store for a driver with an accessibility permit. On the right are two garage doors. Two cars were parked in front of each door. There are parking spots across from the gas station by the car wash. I backed into a spot and walked over. The Timmy's is a part of the store, next to the Circle K cashout area. Timmy's was pretty busy with customers. I had no problem finding beverages. I got two bottles of Diet Pepsi and a berry Gatorade Zero. I waited in line. There was a woman leaving Timmy's who was pleasant. She was carrying a lot of goodies. I asked if she needed help getting out of the store. She was fine and thanked me for offering to help. On the contrary, I opened the door for a young Chinese female going into the store who did not say thank you. I said, "You're welcome." Our eyes met. I figured out that her brother was the kid twirling around in the Timmy's line. It runs in the family. Ugh. Our eyes met again when they both left the store after me. I let her know that she had poor manners. I also stared her down when she was in the backseat of her mom's car leaving the gas station. Fun in Richmond Hill! Quite the contrast. I'm not your personal door person. I was carrying drinks and still managed to open the door for you. I was being nice. I didn't have to be kind to you. The LEAST you could do is say thanks. Instead, you acted like a privileged teen. I digress. I do feel better venting. Back to my review... The man at the checkout was super nice. He said hi. He asked me how I was doing. I was great then. I got my drinks scanned. I also scanned my PC Optimum barcode and paid with a credit card. Done! I thanked him. He wished me a great evening. I reciprocated. My berry Gatorade zero hit the spot. It was my first time trying it. I liked it. I'd return to this store when I'm in the area again. Customer service was great and I got the drinks that I needed. I later found out he is the manager. The store has their own coffee and hot chocolate, not the ones from Tim Hortons. I prefer their own. I went there the first time on 2023-08-28 and had a Froster (large, $2.79). I went back on 2023-09-24 and had a Hot Chocolate (large $1.69, sale $1.00). They have all the regular products of Circle K. The bakery products are freshly baked every day. Their warmers (eg, for hot dogs and Tornados) are  larger, and they have two of them. They have a new product that they keep warm: nuts in a coned packaging. All new stores starting in 2023 have red signage over their fridges instead of blue neon signs. One change (affecting all Circle K store) is the conversion to paper straws instead of plastic straws. The paper straws have a small diameter, which makes it hard to suck up a Froster!). The manager has asked Circle K corporate to fix this somehow. There is no free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible.  There is one gender-neutral washroom, which is wheelchair accessible. There are two aisles that people can move along. They sell salty snacks, beef jerky, candy bars, etc. There is a Tim Hortons Express where you serve yourself coffee and/or donuts/muffins. Since it is an Express, they don't access Tim Hortons loyalty or give cards. They also sell lottery tickets. However, it is so crowded that if you had to mark up lottery tickets (eg Lotto 6/49 or Lotto MAX), you would block one of aisles very near the entrance! The staff was courteous. During pandemic times, there is plexiglass and staff wear masks. There is no free WiFi. The store is not wheelchair accessible. Came to Elm Basket to get a copy of my key and fob. Their prices are very reasonable - if I recall…read morecorrectly, it was about $6 per key copy and $30 for a fob. This is by far cheaper than some other fob places (eg. Mini Fob) where it's closer to $80! They were able to get all my items copied (2 keys and 1 fob) in about 5-10 minutes while I waited. My fob worked perfectly fine but my cut keys do NOT work - they were not cut very precisely so one doesn't turn in the lock at all, and the second does turn but gets jammed easily. Overall I would recommend them to get your fob done, but I would suggest you go elsewhere to get some keys cut.

However, I have come to this store a few times to buy or collect winnings from lottery tickets. The older woman is pleasant while the younger woman is just average when it comes to customer service. The store is clean and well-lit.
