A little hairy! I figured it was the alternator. I pulled into the gas station next to the Cracker Barrel for easy tow access. After unsuccessfully dealing with State Farm road assistance, I searched for a local tow company. K&K had excellent ratings and also has Golden Automotive Repair. I decided I have to trust someone other than my hometown mechanic with my 2008 Pontiac Solstice (it's my baby!), so, gave them a call. The girl who answered was friendly, understanding, and very knowledgeable. She had a truck to me in 30 minutes. This was around 4:30 on a Sunday afternoon. By 8:30 the next morning, she called and said it was the serpentine chain and pulley; way better than being the alternator since no one had one, and they should have me ready by noon. Got the next call at 11:35 and she said she my car was ready and would pick me up in 10 minutes! The service was great and the price was right in line with what I expected for that repair. I was back on the road southbound for home! Highly recommend! Side note: The Sleep Inn at Exit 310 on I65 is VERY clean, newly remodeled, reasonably priced, with wonderful staff!

When they arrived, they refused to drive to the Detached garage because there was grass. I explained the road was previously gravel used by trucks and tractors, but because it had grass on it, they canceled my request and left. I called them back to see why my request was canceled, and they hung up on me without a response. I called AAA to get another towing company that will drive on a gravel road with grass. I will NOT be using Lucky 13 for any of my other tows!

I have the pictures to prove those as well. I'm suing this business for so many items that I won't list currently; however, I will update this review after I do. Also lifted the vehicle with a jack under the transmission pan. Tried blaming someone they hired after billing me 1246.37. It would cost me 5000.00 to take them to court. I already went to another mechanic who stated these problems for another 501.40 please do not trust these people. I went back for them to correct it and they wanted me to go after the guy they hired. They put me in a real bad way. Struggling to get through this winter. They should be ashamed of themselves.

205 Towing hit a tree limb while hauling my truck, broke the windshield, the mirror and bracket…read morewhich bent the passenger door. I talked to the owner and sent pictures. His driver admitted he hit a tree limb. The owner refused to file an insurance claim because he said his insurance was too high already. He said we would work something out. Then Billy the driver calls and says he was being made to pay for the windshield himself and sends Michael Calvert Glass out for the repair. Michael breaks the new windshield during installation and then orders another. He said it was a cheap Chinese made windshield. Now with the second windshield the new gasket is split and leaks rain in the floor of the truck. The door and mirror/ bracket have not been repaired and I I have not heard from the owner since June. I would not recommend 205 towing because of the lack of responsibility and unprofessionalism but I would appreciate a call from the owner's insurance company.
