We used this company and stored our goods with them for over 14 months. When they guys were moving our goods out for storage, there was lots of damage to the walls and floors. We didn't file a claim because we knew the house was undergoing a major remodel. When they moved us back in, we had the builder cover all the walls and flooring. AMS did not have that as an option. Additionally, when they brought our stuff back, many items were covered with mold. We had a lot of damage and many boxes looked like they had been packed by children. I hate to leave a negative review but our compensation for damage was horrible and out of line in our opinion. I can't recommend this company and I would not use them again. read more

This company is so unprofessional and I will not recommend them at all. The moving process was horrible they were so late and not just a couple minutes late almost 2 hours. Me and my wife Was quoted one price but when everything was done it wasn't the price we were quoted. Also things got left behind on the truck. I don't feel like it was worth using this company at all. They were over an hour and a half late getting to me, and when I set up the appointment I was quoted $380 bc they require a 2 hour minimum. All they had to move was 1 bedroom set, and my husband had already broken it down for them and had it at the door. Our move, including travel time, took 1 hour and 50 minutes. Not only did they not call to tell me they were running late until they were already late, but they then ended up charging me $480. And that was with a 10% discount and an additional $50 taken off for being late. Not worth it. We gave a required $100 deposit on June 9, 2025 for a move on July 18, 2025 with the Hilton Head, SC location. Movers never showed - finally received a call "late" in the day that their truck had issues that morning. They were supposed to have been at our home at 11am. They were rescheduled for the next day. Movers never showed again. Have called their office multiple times for a refund on our deposit. Each time we've been told they are sending request to their finance department and refund should be sent soon. We have called a total of 4 times - same response. Why i would never recommend your company as movers! The 4 folks on loading team in Beaufort SC were very good at packing our belongings, however only one of the loading team came to unload. he was trying his best to unload properly to locations marked on each box. but the surely driver in charge starting telling him to "just start dumping the marked boxes anywhere" and most ended up put into the garage - and not into the rooms where the clearly marked boxes belonged. As my wife and I are both 80, it was a nightmare for weeks. This delay us weeks. This action by the driver was terrible. He refused getting things to 1st and 2nd floor where they belonged and just dumped things anywhere- mostly in garage. In addition, your truck delayed a day in delivery because it was sent out with a driver too young/qualified to drive the truck across state line from SC to NC. We were LIED TO. re: the reason for the delay and told it was because the "truck had broken down half way due to problem with a wheel, and that another truck was being sent to offload our belongings!". I took my time to move all of my small items myself for weeks to ensure that I had a quick move. I literally moved two blocks away! I was charged $900 for 2 1/2 hours! I was charged $88 to pack a specialty item, $150 fuel charge, $150 for the distance. I was quoted $159 an hour and even though I spoke with several people before the move - none of them had the decency to highlight all of their ridiculous fees. The initial walkthrough and estimate with Jason, went incredibly well. Greg, who assumed the move going forward, made the process very clear and everything he promised came to fruition. Their estimate was very accurate. They sent a team of 6, to pack us up and they did a great job. There were a few valuable antiques, one in particular, and the way they packed it, was beyond my expectations. They were efficient, respectful and incredibly responsive. So appreciated the way they handled the packing So appreciate Craig, Brandt, Keyshawn, Logan, Germaine and, AJ, The next day they sent a team of 4 to unload and except for a small glitch, which they owned up to and made right, everything was handled as I had hoped. Do not use this company. I paid extra for moving insurance in case any of my belongings were lost or damaged. Not only were items damaged, but multiple items were stolen. I filed a claim and was denied. Customer service has been no help. Corey, the foreman, has been no help. I'm sure, they will post a generic response about how they "strive for the highest level of customer service" or thank me for my feedback, but all of it is meaningless. Unprofessional and incompetent. I had a horrible experience when I purchased "white glove" service to deliver an item to my home. Even though I called the morning of the delivery to say don't use Google Maps, the driver did and got lost. After many frustrating dropped calls, I had to go find them and asked them to follow me. Instead, they turned and left - thereby not delivering my item for which I had waited all day. I had to go the next day and pick the item up myself. Robert and his crew were fantastic. The speed at which they loaded the 26 ft truck was amazing. It was tightly packed to help prevent the load from shifting which is often the cause of damage. It was lightly raining when they started to unload the truck which was ok. However, the rain picked up as they went. When they got to the point to unloaded some of our finer pieces of furniture, Robert called it a day in fear of the rain causing damage to our items. They returned early the next day and finished the job. This was the first of two moves for us. I will be requesting Robert and his crew to do our final move in the next couple of weeks. read more

I hired this mover and opted for their all inclusive package which packed and unpacked everything in the house. They neglected to pack any of my clothes. With my suits was well over $5K in value. Estimated more than 2 k under actual cost, did NOT COMPLETE PACKING OR MOVE.Then they attempted to try and hustle another 2500 out of me for storage.extremely deceptive practices. Packing boxes not labeled, not number tagged, and pieces of furniture not packed or moved together. Handled grandfather clock despite being against policy, removed pendulum and did not safely affix to clock. Placed marble table tops on top of glass table. Did not complete job as promised. Not one room was completely packed or emptied. Then there's a complete lack of communication and accountability with everyone making promises that someone else will make good on, yet no one did despite multiple and numerous attempts. I hired this guy because I had recommendations from a few years back. He assured me they were trustworthy and reliable, nothing could be further from the truth, the mess they left me with took 3 days to clean up- packing and moving because it was just the 2 of us. They showed up somewhat on time. They were efficient in clearing out items and packing. There were significant extra charges for packing things. However, where they failed was that they forgot to remove some items from inside cabinets. I called them for days and talked to someone new each time. Each person assured me that they would be by that day or the next day to finish the job. They never showed up until days later after 10 calls. Then they told me they had to charge extra for finishing the job since their truck was full when they did the original job. Their truck wasn't full, it was 40% empty. read more

Please do not use this company. We have a small apartment which required just a few heavy pieces of furniture to be moved and they are now 4 hours into moving half of what we need. My husband finally had to tell them to leave and just deliver what they'd packed due to repeatedly catching the crew sitting around on their cell phone. Then complained to us that the furniture was too heavy and that they shouldn't be moving any heavy furniture. Next the excuse was they needed more help. The heavy furniture they were complaining about is the same furniture me and my husband have moved twice now by ourselves. We have used these guys before and we're satisfied with their work... this time their work was adequate however some of the billing strategies were certainty unethical bordering on illegal. My name was forged to contract... I never saw it or had the opportunity to ask questions. I realized this when they sent me a copy of the contract. Scheduled our move a month and a half ago. We only needed them for two hours to move a couch and few boxes across the street! Got a call the morning of the move saying no one showed up to work so there was no one to send to help. Asked if we could move tomorrow but we needed to be out today. They destroyed furniture and did over $5k of damage to our brand new white oak hardwoods by sliding furniture on it. They kept switching crews and people kept leaving. A 6 hour in city move took 13 hr. Price was double estimate. They left pieces and parts of furniture behind at our old house and on their truck. It was a disappointing experience. They ruined our dining room table because they didn't wrap it properly, broke a slat in our bed and left deep gouges in our hardwood floor. Avoid at all cost! They were the lowest estimate, there is a reason! I lost thousands of dollars. They damaged floors both at the source and destination. I called dispatch multiple times including after they left the house and told them about all of the damage. Corey asked if they put protection down for the floor. They did not. He promised he would 'make it right', At the destination, they pulled heavy furniture across Mexican tile tearing the top off. I wrote everything up on the destination form and iPad. The driver was apologetic and said they would take care of it. I called multiple times and finally filed a claim. The response was they would give me 150 if I would release them from all liability. Really? Several thousand dollars of damage, loss of money on the sale of my home and the start of damage to a new home. The repair estimate for the tile was the most disappointing. They said it would be unlikely to ever match. I submitted again and they claimed, this was previous damage. How can they claim this when their own driver documented it and I have photos? Wish I could give zero stars. Recently moved and hired these guys to move only a dozen or so pieces of furniture only 4 miles to our new house. Unfortunately after they left we discovered that they damaged at least half of what they moved and put marks and a hole in the wall. large piece of wood out of our desk, dings in the fridge, very expensive sofa laid on the grass got stained with mud, bed frame scratched up and more. When I called, they had me fill out claim form and assured me if the settlement amount was not good enough, they would discuss further reimbursement. The amount they issued was not nearly worth the damage they did and when we called, the guy we spoke to said we should've taken out an insurance policy and that's how they do business. Very rude. We asked for a supervisor and sat on hold forever until being told a supervisor would get back to us. We called back and left a message and are still waiting for a call back weeks later. 80% of our items were damaged because the driver didn't close the door and drove with all of our belongings falling out of the truck. We didn't get the insurance so we were only given 2k for 16k in damages. I have moved many times in life and this experience was worse than I could imagine ever occurring in a move. Unfortunately, my worst moving experience to date; I hired All My Sons to load my belongings into a 22-foot Penske truck, left instructions on how things should be placed and what items needed to be protected. The movers did an awful job. They started by stacking bikes on top of upholstered chairs, which scratched and gouged all the furniture within their proximity and rubbed their paint completely off. Kitchen items I placed on baker's racks secured with bungees were broken and crushed after they did little or nothing to secure them. Instead of loading them towards the front of the truck, the movers loaded them at the end of the truck and removed bungees to attach the baker's racks to the truck's walls. Not too sure a bungee is meant to hold something so heavy, but what do I know? My mattress, which could have protected items, was placed on top of everything. Storage/Moving crates were stacked with the heaviest ones on top, causing the containers on the bottom to implode and crack. Things that were fragile should have been placed in an organized fashion as I instructed and how I left the items in the apartment before the move. Instead, they were jammed in, to conserve space; over 5 feet of the truck cab was empty, yet everything was packed to the roof. These folks are by no means, professional movers. Please look them up on Google reviews; their average is 1.4 at best. The gut-wrenching part is that their manager Jacob said they would take care of me and was so apologetic then transferred me to their insurance dept who offered me $217 for my trouble. That doesn't even pay for the food processor that cracked in half when the baker's rack fell on it. I wish I could add photos to this review; they tell the entire story. They confirmed my move the day before and called me the day of my move to tell me they had over booked and could not complete my move but had another company scheduled to help us with the move. This so-called company was a man, inexperienced 14 and 16 year old boys along with a 20ft truck for an apartment and two storage units. When I called them back to discuss the situation, they refused to talk to me. I called a few days later and did get through to which they told me it was my choice... I never called the new "company" to schedule the move... they scheduled it for me and left me with no choice. I have scratches in my brand new floor and holes in my walls. Beyond frustrated! Would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Such terrible customer service! Who schedules and confirms a move and then cancels the day of? They said that this other company fills in for them frequently when this happens... lets you know they don't care about the customers! They overbooked constantly and fall back on random people to help them out and then don't want to back the quality when it's over. read more
