We utilized the Boynton branch of All My Sons for our recent move. We only had about 20 or so items for them to move (all furniture basically), we had previously moved a majority of items ourselves as we had 3 weeks to do so between our apartment and our new home. We went with them as they provided the most reasonable quote based on what we needed moved. On the positive side I will say the sales manager was very nice and responsive, even when I contacted them regarding my issues. The movers showed up on time and were nice. They brought all the materials they needed and the box truck was sufficient for the job. Now for the negative.. We were assuming the job would only take a couple hours, 3 max. They showed up at 8 and began to wrap the downstairs furniture. Our couch is a sectional so we previously disconnected all the sections prior to their arrival and also gathered everything they needed for the other furniture as to keep the process speedy. As they did that, I did some misc things around the townhouse to put in my truck to bring over. It got to a point where just about 2 hours hit and they weren't done downstairs wrapping and putting the items in the truck. I had to literally stand there and watch them so they would pick up the pace - which they did. They did a decent job wrapping, using a ton of tape and shrink wrap which unbenounced to me I had to pay for! The quote had padding included for materials..so one would think tape and shrink wrap is part of that..how can you cover something with padding and not secure it right? When I asked about this, I was told they normally charge $45 for this (again, this was in no way shape or form mentioned in the quote) but will only charge me $15...thanks I guess? They kept the pace upstairs pretty quick and got all my stuff loaded (some of my kitchen chairs were wrapped, some weren't, also frustrating). Before we left one of them asked me if he can use our microwave to heat up his pizza..I'm a nice guy so I said sure but that's just an odd thing to ask a client. We get to the house and they have me sign for the remainder of the charges ($200 was the deposit given initially). $515?!?! The fuel surcharge is based on the final bill?!?! I was livid but had no choice as they won't unload my belongings unless I sign. I can understand the fuel charge being based on the hour drive time (30 min each way) but on the whole bill? Complete BS. They unloaded my belongings fairly quickly, my kitchen table legs became loose somehow, they nicked our not even year old china cabinet (and it as wrapped), while bringing up our futon to the second story they knocked it into an overhead light breaking the enclosure of it and proceeded to want to stay and help us set up. I grabbed my knife and started to break down the plastic wrap and padding myself to move them along because at this point, I didn't want to pay anymore than I had to. They remarked that I was helping and I said well yea I have things to do and asked, is work slow or something? They replied yes, hours have been light so I now get why they were taking their time at our old place and trying to at our new place. In sum, I wouldn't use these guys again. Terrible customer service, high hidden fees, was given a price when I first called and a 20% discount which was not honored when the job was finished. They simply told me that the discount was only applied If it didn't exceed 2 hours! I hired them for a Two hour labor only and their movers took two smoke long breaks, reason why went a little over two hours and they expected me to pay for their employees break time! This move with All My Sons was a 2 part move with a storage component between moves. when my belonging were delivered there was extensive damage. Including a new 65" TV (cracked across screen/ wouldn't turn on), items with water damage, and a handful of other upholstery items the moving company had been hired to pack, that were all soiled, and damaged. Despite the damage clearly being negligence and not just an isolated accident, the moving company took no responsibility and fell back on their contract and only offered to compensate me by weight vs the value of the product. There was no remorse for the extensive damage. This is not a company that values your belongings or that show care in what they do. It's all a facade up front to get your business. read more

NO CALL NO SHOW ON THE MOVE AND WONT RESPOND TO MULTIPLE CALLS AND EMAILS TO REFUND THE DEPOSIT. Horrible and unprofessional. They didn't even bother to show up for the appointment much less call to make me aware of this. In fact, I had to wait on hold for 10-15 mins every time I called them for an update on what time they would show and that's if someone ever answered the phone. The "manager" Steve is very unprofessional when I spoke with him and when I was speaking to another unprofessional representative on the phone, Steve was yelling in the background. They also required a deposit, but didn't refund it after I asked them to despite their own no call now show which now I have to dispute the charge. This place is awful. Don't ever use them. I found a much more reliable company that answered the phones right away and showed up when they said they would. RUN! FIND A BETTER OPTION! Theres plenty of them. I've been meaning to provide an update. After I disputed the charge, per the credit card company they tried to claim they completed the move. Our Worst Moving Experience Ever! After interviewing several movers, I went with All My Sons due to their "5 Star Ratings". A couple of days before our move, Andrew called me between 8:30 and 9:00 AM to confirm the move and had me sign the final DocuSign contract. Anxious, packed, and ready to go, the movers showed up at 10 AM, to our dismay! They entered our community in Delray Beach from the wrong gate, which is reserved for residents and guests only. They had to be redirected to the commercial gate on SR 441, about 3 miles away. From the onset, the movers, who appeared to be migrant workers, did not have the training or experience to move high-end furniture from multi-million dollar homes. They used metal dollies with stacked boxes to move the boxes down the stairs, damaging our staircase until I stopped them. They did not bring any floor protectors to cover the stairs, and they did not even have a door stopper to hold the door open. They scratched and dented expensive dining and bedroom furniture and put holes in the staircase walls of our new high-end home in Boca. They needed the tools and expertise to unmount the wall-mounted TVs they did not have. A 5 ft glass table top of a high-end breakfast dining table was moved without any packing! In the middle of the move, Zack asked me to sign 10+ documents on a small iPad, which I could not read! They were disorganized and disrespectful by cursing their boss, Zack, behind his back. At the end of this highly stressful move, they lit up and smoked something that made all of them giggly and dance, which we felt was very strange. When they had loaded the two trucks, and I thought we were headed to unload at our new home, which was two miles away, they decided to take a lunch break without telling us. When I called their office, the same rude Andrew told me they were entitled to a lunch break with two truckloads of our belongings. I told Andrew I would buy them lunch, which I did to have them come back and unload the trucks. I also tipped each of them as I felt they were victims of a greedy and predatory company. It appeared that this company is all about sales and marketing, which talks the good talk but operationally gets an F! From this horrible experience, one can only conclude that All My Sons is a company that exploits poor migrants to its benefit and to the detriment of its customers, who put their trust in their services. read more

10/10 great experience with all of All My Sons! Had a scheduled mover cancel the day before a to my first home. I was beyond stressed calling around trying to get someone to move me very last minute, early in the morning and an hour away (Boynton Beach to Port St Lucie). Essie, the booking agent assisted me and made magic happen! On the day of the move, movers Morgan and RJ showed up on time, exactly at 9am and got straight to working. They were fast, careful, and overall great workers. They successfully moved me with no issues into my first home and my wife and I couldn't have been happier especially with the last minute notice we gave them. Do not use their service. Especially when Doug Reiff is involved. I contracted 3 movers and 1 truck to move 12 pieces of furniture 12 miles. They had the use of 2 freight elevators and a loading zone. I had to leave partway into the move to take my fiance to the hospital. 4 hours later, I received notice that they were demanding $1200.00, including an hour to unload 12 pieces of furniture, $150 for packing supplies which consisted of tape and packing paper, $180 for fuel, and the 4 hours it would have taken me to just load the truck my self. When I questioned them, I was directed to speak to manager Doug who only interested in reiterating the contracted rates. Had he bothered to hear my concern, he would have heard I agreed with the hourly rate but had serious questions on how long such a simple move took. This self purported "God fearing" man then had no issues stating I had 10 minutes to pay before an additional hour of time, which smacks of extortion. When I asked for the number for complaints, he simply said he was the complaint line but would give me a number to call. He was not able to resist telling me that the number "may or not" go to him. If this company was honest in the amount of time it should take to empty a sparsely furnished 700 square foot apartment of furniture, this would not stand. read more

Constantly on the phones, barely walking, team leader tells the crew to just wait and take a break. Absolutely EVERY piece was carried on hand trucks including CUSHIONS FROM THE COUCH. PATHETIC. Took 6 hours for 2 bedroom apartment 11 minutes away from each other. FOR 3 GUYS. Hidden fees, unfair charges such as $240 fuel charge for 4.6 mile move. TV was wrapped in 4 mirror boxes at $15 each. We moved from a 5 bedroom house on one side of Wellington to a 2 bedroom apt on the other side of Wellington. At first the guys seemed hard working and friendly, but after the move we notice we were missing a large (5'X8'0 valuable painting called a Bridge Across Forever by George Sumner. I called the company immediately to report the item. my husband and son both witnessed the guys packing the painting and loading it onto the truck. Their repeated response to me after several phone calls was that the paintings were place behind the door in bedroom #2. i'm sorry but besides our furniture, this was the largest item we owned. it could not have been easily misplaced. We used them to move in March 2020. The positives: the three moving men were on-time, friendly, professional and hard-working. We were very impressed with them. Top notch. The negatives: The company charged us $250 to basically just show up. They charged on hour of travel time to get here and back, which I can handle. But they charged us a $100 fuel surcharge when we only moved two doors away in the SAME building. There was no truck or driving required. We just walked a few yards. When I called, they tried to say that he state mandates they charge the $100 fuel charge, and then blamed it on us, saying they told my husband and he didn't tell me. It was very insulting. All movers bang up your stuff, so that is just a given, and, unfortunately there were two small gashes on the top of a brand-new dresser. We let that slide because the moving guys were SO terrific, but if we knew the office was then going to rip us off on the bill, we would have filed a claim. The company should disclose that they charge $250 to just show up at your door before they do a single thing. That would be the honest thing to do. They insisted they said there would be a one-hour travel time to get here and back, along with a "surcharge," but did not reveal that those things added up to $250. When they showed up at my new house, 2 of the 3 had clearly been smoking pot. My new house stunk of thier oder and because they were under the influcence, they made a hole in my wall and scuffed my floor. Upon arriving my time was started. However according to your men they can't start working until a lengthy form is filled out on their pad. I was only shown the signature line by the worker with the pad. I refused to sign something without reading it first. I told him that I am sure it's not your companies policy for a consumer to sign something without being educated by your staff on what the document is. As a result I had to request a manager. Once I was allowed to read the forms I noticed the estimate was increased. I complained and refused to sign it until it was changed to the amount that was on the original estimate. This back and forward took at least 40 to 50 minutes. But my time did not reset. I was being charged and their job hadn't even started yet. When the men stated working I noticed the driver still sitting in the truck. I had to go out and fuss at him and request to speak to a manager. He called him 20 to 30 minutes later. He told me he loads the truck. I told him he can't load the truck if he hasn't help bring items to the truck. It was a mess. It took him at least an hour of me complaining to his supervisor for him to started working hard. The supervisor on the phone was a jerk all day. In stead of him hearing my concerns,he kept defending the guy on the truck. It was such a bad experience. They don't even take all of the items I put in my estimate and then they over charged me. Only two workers work hard and were consistent. The next issue was how late they got to Port Saint Lucie. Then immediately refused to work until I paid. Then said they only had 3 hours until cut off time. The manager on the phone was rude and insulting and coming across a bit racist. I was in shocked. They tried to make my rate extremely higher... Be careful with this company. I had heard such good things from a few colleagues but my experience was the worst. The manger agreed to refund a small portion of my money in a few days. I haven't seen that yet. I definitely feel taken advantage of. I definitely wouldn't refer this company to anyone. I spit of it all I still tipped the workers the next day. I booked this moving company two weeks in advance of my move and instructed them explicitly that I would not be able to confirm until two days prior. They called four days prior, and I asked "was the esr Who took my call heart of hearing... Do not EVER use this company for moving services. I had to move in with my elderly parents to care for them because of coronavirus. In addition I lost my job because of coronavirus. I was forced to use a living service because everyone I know was self isolating as they should be. When I booked the move they told me the time would end when we arrived at our destination. Lie #1. I was told I would receive a 50% discount, lie #2. But the really upsetting part is I NEVER asked for a discount. What I did ask is that they only charge me for the ACTUAL time it took for the movers to unload since I had been lied to about costs. When I called and spoke to the woman in charge of finance she had ZERO compassion or humanity. I explained the situation and that I could not afford to have more money taken out of my account than needed. She was rude, horrible and completely lacking any empathy. All I wanted was to be charged the exact amount I owed and no more. Two weeks later and the promised refund of the over charge has not been issued. It's really terrible that in a time when people AND businesses are doing what they can to help in this national crisis this company can't be bothered! I paid $1000 for packing the day before the move. There were things I didn't want moved but left in the old place. When I pointed that out one of the guys yelled at me and reminded me they were on a time schedule. Then he later admitted he had called one of the supervisors in the main office who called me and suggested I go to Starbucks to chill along with being blaming and verbally abusive. I couldn't leave because of a pet on the premises. The next day they moved everything to my new place. 2 weeks later I am still unpacking. I am finding many things I did not want moved. Regarding clothing they rolled everything up with the hangers and stuck in a tall box. I couldn't reach to the bottom. Overall it was a mess!!! read more

I hired ALL MY SONS MOVING COMPANY (AMS) March 2023 to move boxes of household items that were packed by myself, and also 1 bedroom set that was to be packed and protected by AMS. The sales person that came to my home assured me that the movers were well trained, and were very good at protecting the furniture so I agreed to let them handle the packing of the furniture.They charged me extra for providing the materials to protect the furniture. The move took place on a Friday morning, and the contents were being moved from a condo to a storage unit until my new home is ready. The 3 men showed up on time and began wrapping the bedroom furniture in plastic. I kept telling the one man that he was not covering the furniture properly, and that he had not taken the shelf out that was inside. After several times back and forth, he told me that " they would treat my furniture as they would their own and to stop worrying". He assured me that the shelf did not need to come out and he wasn't real happy with my trying to tell him what to do. When they moved that piece of furniture that I told him wasn't being wrapped properly, the shelf was banging around. Next time I saw it was when they were putting it in the storage unit. The plastic was all torn off, and the side was destroyed.This was a Friday they were moving me and I was settling on my old place that Monday, otherwise, I would have fired them on the spot when they would not listen to me. I purchased a heavy duty mattress cover with Amazon and covered the mattress and I advised the two men that were carrying it that I had also paid for a mattress cover with AMS and they should put that over top of mine to make sure it doesn't get damaged and I also wanted the top taped closed. They agreed to tape the top of the mattress cover closed, however, they said that the one that I purchased from Amazon was so thick that they didn't need to put the "cheap"one on that they brought and refused to put it on. They said nothing could break through the one I had purchased. I saw them dragging the mattress on the floor at the storage unit, and then one of the men put his fist through the plastic so he could carry it better. With the holes in the mattress cover, the mattress is now exposed to any dust or debris in the unit. I had to stand back at the storage unit so they could load the heavy items in and I was not able to see if any of the items were damaged other than the dresser that they had sideways. It also was wrapped in plastic and torn off and the wood side destroyed. Two of the movers stood there and told me that the two items we could see where the sides were totally destroyed happened because they were dragged across the concrete drive. Since I won't be in my new place for months, I have no idea what else they have destroyed. The only thing I needed protected was just 1 bedroom set. They were so careless and refused to listen to me. I did not take their insurance simply because I knew the items in the boxes could not be damaged, and they assured me that they would protect the furniture items properly. It would only take three hours to move. I have moved numerous times before. At the most something is scratched or broken, and can easily be fixed. Even though the furniture was fairly new, I didn't think they could do much damage. There were three strong men. There wasn't any need to drag furniture across a concrete driveway on its side. That is not an "accident". These are supposed to be professional movers. They were anything but. The claims office offered me $165. The claims adjuster refused to let me speak with the supervisor. I made a complaint to the BBB and then I was finally allowed to speak with a supervisor. I tried to explain to the supervisor that this was not an accident. Professional movers don't drag wood furniture across concrete. Mattress covers are used to protect the mattress.The supervisor offered me an additional $85. When I told him to send me the paperwork and I would do what I had to do, he told me I needed to read the paperwork carefully, because there was a non-disclosure clause which would prevent me from writing any bad or negative reviews regarding ALL MY SONS. This is how vendors prevent bad reviews. I'd rather they keep their $250 plus my $1100 and people know that the movers were so poor and their response to my claim was ridiculous. Do not trust this moving company. I just moved from Ft Lauderdale on 4/22/22 and I had three young man and they were slacking when loading the truck. I was moving out of a studio and I got charged 1,165 which is more like for a two bedroom. They were not well coordinated and no communication at all. They did not come prepared for all my small stuff. I told the moving company that I had a lot of boxes so they could have been better prepared. We didn't even make it to the moving part with this horrible company. They were supposed to send someone out to give an estimate. The first time, the day of the appt, I got a call that morning asking could they come now and my appt wasn't until 4:30. I said no, and then was told that was inconvenient because he would have to be waiting around for me. I should have canceled then. However, I rescheduled for another day. When that day came, the guy never showed up. When i called, i was told it was moved to the next day at 4:30, which I wouldn't have set since I work until 5:30. They stole my Nike Vapormax Plus out of my garage. They were next to a large box that was being moved. I knew my shoes were nice, but I had no idea they were valuable. I could only find my shoes on the secondary market for $275. I'm a physician, if I didn't happen to have a pair of 10 year old tennis shoes I'd have gone to the hospital in flip flops. Movers do not keep their masks on while in your home and when you ask them to cover their noses and mouths they are hostile. I felt physically threatened when I requested they keep their masks on. The one employee kept walking towards me while arguing with me and literally backed me into a corner in my kitchen. I just called the office to alert them. read more

Horrible experience dealing with this company. They were supposed to send a 3 man team to handle a relatively small move (simply a bedroom set, tv stand, and couch). Within 15 minutes of the move, they pulled one guy off of the job for an hour to get "packing materials" without discussing it with me beforehand. One of the two men left were brand new and pretty much stood around the whole time. To add insult to injury, they forgot their tools to disassemble the bedroom set! Ultimately I had to loan them hand tools which caused the move to take much longer than expected (which keep in mind they bill based on an hourly rate). I did not ask for packing material - yet they billed me almost $200 for it. This all resulted in an $1,100 bill to move 3 pieces of furniture into storage! Upon inspection of my furniture in storage, they stacked items in a way that damaged my couch. They also lost the doors to the TV stand, which is now useless. No luck getting in touch with them post-move. Called multiple times with them promising that someone would "get back in touch" with me. It's now a month later and I have still received no call back. Please do not be deceived like I was by only reading the reviews that they place on their website which cherry pick only the positive reviews that appear here and ignore the many negative reviews which detail horrible experiences like the one I had.. The movers destroyed my nearly brand new television and they have offered a tiny fraction of the replacement costs as compensation. Based on what I have seen from other reviews which made similar complaints on Facebook, I expect someone will respond to this post and suggest that I call a customer service number and they will take care of my problem. I have already been down that route with no satisfaction and I think a class action or investigation by the Attorney General for their fraudulent practices in only posting positive reviews and then cheating customers when they destroy valuable items during the move is the only thing that will change their business practices. If they come through and make a fair settlement for the property damage they did, I will come back and report that, but for now all I can do is to warn others to stay far away from this company. read more

Lauren was my contact and at first I thought perhaps caring person. Then I realized she must be on commission sales as she always had "deal that expired in xx days". I finally started checking closer to our location and found not only are others much cheaper, with good ratings but all not so pushy! Commission sales tend to eliminate customer service skills. Her rates were $15 higher and then the one we chose also gave us 10% off entire move rate for Veteran discount as opposed to the one time deal of $50 off only good two days! Plus they want $250 upfront and the one we chose wants $50! BIG difference all around. read more

SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR PRECIOUS BELONGINGS AND USE ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY!!!! I don't even know where to start with this company. It was a nightmare 20 minutes in. I was selling my mother's condo and needed a moving company to take a few items to our storage unit. My realtor sent me a list of companies, of which All My Sons Moving and Storage was the first on the list. I live out of state, so I was going to fly in for the day to ensure that the proper items where getting moved. I called for an estimate and spoke to Kirk, who told me that based on the items, I would only need 2 men, and it should take less 4 hours. Initially, I didn't think it would need 4 hours, it was less than 20 items (including y large items: bed, 2 dressers, china cabinet and couch, and 2 chairs), on the second floor and there was an elevator, but I was under a time constraint, so I said ok and made the appointment. Agreement: 2 men/26 ft. truck/$109/hr. Labor +1 hour for travel+18% field charge rate $109 deposit left on Wed, April 10 Move date: Monday, April 15, 2019 I was called on Sunday to confirm the 8 am start time for Monday. The two men got there on time. They started prepping and packing things immediately, I had to go to Home Depot to pick up some boxes, so I let them know I'd be leaving out for a bit. After 15 min of arriving at Home Depot, I got a phone call from someone at All My Sons Moving and Storage telling me that I should have been given a document for my signature before the men started AND I was not supposed to leave the movers in the house alone (none of which was explained to me prior by anyone). I promptly left HD to return to the condo, only to find both men sitting in the truck smoking and on their phones. The one guy (I think his name was Kory) started complaining about how stupid the policy was because movers get paid by the hour and it should be the office's responsibility to have the document signed. The bashing of his superiors continued with him sharing that one of the owners was finally back in the office that day after his vacation. And even though, "he don't do much" he wanted everything to be done a certain way, but kept "changing stuff". With all of this sharing and sitting around after I left, I made sure to call the office and "reset" my start time to begin when the document was signed since I lost an hour. There are entirely too many failures to state here but here are some highlights: *Kory stated that All My Sons Moving and Storage did not make me pre-pay for their moving services because my property "wasn't in the ghetto"; *Kory kept disappearing to go smoke and chat on the phone; *Kory asked me if I have any tools to dismantle my mother's bed. After 6 hours, I start packing up things myself and I waited for them to try and stabilize less than 20 items a 26 ft truck before they finally close the doors and get underway. Summary: *Kory, who was driving the moving truck, got lost following me while on the way to the storage facility. (He claimed he followed another car). -They did a crappy job wrapping items and damaging almost every piece of my mother's furniture. -Because they had no idea how to pack a storage unit, I was forced to get a larger, more expensive unit in order to accommodate their ineptness (see photos). -While standing in the enclosed space of the storage facility,*Kory threatened me when I showed him I was NOT intimidated and told him that "There is no way in hell I was about to pay over $800 for a sh*t job that went WAAAY over the time it should have". After the encounter, I promptly stepped outside to call the office and spoke to one of the owners. Fortunately, it happened to be the one that *Kory was bashing. After I told him about his employee's disclosure of the inner workings of his office, he knew I was being truthful. I told him I would pay no more than $500 (which included the down payment of $109). Please do not use this company. They need a total overhaul of their movers and frankly, their administration as well. I have no idea how they stay in business. read more

I am completely disgusted with my service from All My Sons! First of all, the confirmation phone call 24hrs prior to moving started off rough with Mitchell telling me my price was increasing. We moved on and settled it with him honoring what I was quoted. They arrived at 4 pm. My dresser was dropped and damaged (pictures attached). They didn't have the mattress covers and my mattresses were dragged across the floor, touched the dirty handrails outside, placed against theirs sweaty backs, placed on the truck lift and got rained on. In addition, they broke my son's bed underneath. They were through loading the things by 5:30pm. The truck keys were "misplaced" and I found them under my car 45 mins later (6:15pm) (although my car was parked next to a strip of grass). John said if Tristan didn't locate the keys by 6:30p he was leaving. We get to my new place and now there is only one mover, Tristan. To no surprise John left like he said he would. I was then told three other movers are on their way and will arrive in about 20 minutes. It is now 6:30 and Tristan unloaded most of the things and dispersed the things to the appropriate rooms. When the 3 guys arrived they were much more light hearted and seemed to work better as a team. They divided the work to work much more efficiently and called on each other when they needed help. They were also pleasant. They were through by 8pm. Tristan and John's lack of teamwork was the central cause of what went wrong. Clearly Tristan was hesitant to ask for help from John. John did most of the the lifting on his own and expected the same from Tristan. John made it clear that Tristan didn't know how to wrap and he had to do it himself. You may want to point out that when services are being paid by the hour such personal things like personal phone calls and smoking breaks slows things down. Furthermore, it isn't a good look professionally. In addition, bashing a coworker's job performance in front of the customer isn't professional either. I'm not sure what the internal issues are within your organization but it definitely showed itself today. This was the most unprofessional experience I've had. It was as if this is a start up company that I got off Groupon to do my move. There is no way you all are the official movers for the Dolphins, Panthers and Gators. I would not recommend your services to anyone. Then Mitchell says he is going to take 30 minutes off, and not charge me for supplies. They didn't have the mattress covers that were supposed to be included at a fee. So really what supplies would've been charged anyway? We were down for 45 minutes not because of anything related to my move but bc your workers lost the key. How is the clock even still running at that point? In actuality, my move took 2 hrs 45 mins. I was billed for 3 hrs 30 mins. So how is taking 30 minutes off "a deal"? After this ordeal this should've been free. I'm very disappointed in my experience. They told me they couldn't do anything for me and sent me to their claim department that only pays 60CENTS/Pound. How is that going to replace what they damaged?
