Carl came right out to look at job, Gave me a price. Within 2hrs was there with a crew to top the tree so it would not fall. The next morning they were there to finish the job. Did a great job cleaning the yard and taking care of all wood. All that was left was a small stump as agreed. Left my yard a complete mess afterwards and left a bunch of trees. Refuses to return phone calls and lied about the job he would do. Logging truck cracked my driveway as well. Horrible businessman. Lying just to get a job that completely screws the person trusting you is shameful. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I hired All Pro - All Seasons Wood Service from the Haines phone book. It is listed there as Able/All Pro Tree Service. Carl Drake is the owner. They are located in Binghamton, NY. Mr. Drake came to my house and I was relying on him to advise me on the proper handling, disposal and cutting of the trees that I wanted work done on. Drake said that he would cut six trees, chunk the wood and pile it neatly across the border on my neighbors land so that they could access it; from an agreement that I had with them. He said that he would remove the larger pieces of the trunk. He did half of that and charged me for the whole job that he quoted. Because I mistakenly used the Haines phone book, I had called a few local contractors for an estimate and none of them returned my call. Carl was the only one that returned my call, and I wish that I had taken another look online because there are several local companies listed that were not in the Haines Phone Book! Several friends had told me that they paid to have their large trees 2 ft. in diameter, 60 foot tall. The companies cut the trees, cleaned up and ground the stump down. For $500.00 per tree! Carl charged me $850.00 per tree, did not complete the job! He wanted $1000.00/stump to grind the stumps! SHOP AROUND. DON'T CALL ALL PRO ABLE!!! THEY ARE ABLE TO RIP YOU OFF. When I paid Carl, I was in shock because of the drastic change in the landscaping around my house, the placement of wood on my neighbors property, and the mess that was left for me to clean up. I should have never paid him. He never even got out of his truck to check the job. After talking with my friends about the tree work they had done, I had another tree company take a look at the job. The tree company said that it would have cost less than half of what I paid Drake. I was going to pay the tree company to bring a machine up and drag the trunks off my neighbors land and dispose of them. The tree company talked me out of doing it because of the expense. I waited a week or two, and I decided to call Carl and ask him for a partial refund and for him to adjust his pricing according to the work he did and not the work that he said he would do. This place is a complete rip-off. Stay as far away as you can. They charge at least THREE times the price as an other tree service and they do a horrible job. They target senior citizens with a "senior discount" and then pressure them into signing. They don't price anything out on their estimate, they just fast talk customers into signing right away.
