Simon and his crew spent nearly a week in our yard taking out one huge, mostly dead tree, half of another one that was overhanging our roof and deck, and trimming a lot of other branches from trees that were near power lines or hanging so low they were in the way of mowing and just walking around the yard. They worked with care and precision, hauled away massive loads of branches and trunk sections, and cleaned up the yard beautifully. When I first called Simon over from where he'd been working in our neighbor's yard, we talked about the several trees I was concerned about, and he gave me a quote with several options and prices. I live near the top of a mountain and over the years the trees directly in front of the house had grown to the point where I no longer had a view of the Susquehanna River. 2 acres had to be cleared! Because it was steep mountain side it was all cut by hand and required removing large trees next to power lines. it was a pleasure having him work for us. Called this company. Simon came out the next day. Removed a tree that had partially fallen onto another tree. It was the attention to detail that I really appreciated. Simon cut the tree up, hauled it away, took care of all the small branches and sawdust from the chainsaw and even blew leaves from my backyard off the lawn (which was not asked). The ad for the tree said "never taller than 15 feet and you will get bushels of delicious nuts." Within 10 years it was twice as tall as the garage, damaging the roof and producing nuts that were empty inside. That part of the yard was usesless. The top of One of our largest maple trees snapped in a high wind storm. We called Simon who immediately picked up the phone and came that evening, even though the winds were still powerful. He began the work and when darkness set in he secured the large limb with strong straps and was back the next morning to finish the job.
