I have never seen a business refuse to honor the marked price when it was their error. There was no apology or even promise to fix the signage. Shocked and very upset is my experience with this company. In April I hired Rob to trim 3 large,…read moreold shade trees in my backyard. We agreed on a price and I asked when he'd come out to do the work as I'd be out of town a bit. He assured me once they could get me on the schedule I would be contacted. This did not happen. I came out of a camping trip on a Tuesday after no cell service since Friday evening to find text messages from him that they were done with the trimming (from Monday!) could I come outside and look at their work, and payment was needed. Shock and upset raced thru me as I read these messages, hours from my house to be able to see what had transpired in my absence. I was never contacted, nor did I consent to them entering my property that day to do work. I'd made clear to Rob when he did the bid to tell me when they'd put me on the schedule. When I told him this he apologized and said it was a miscommunication with the office. His miscommunication is my backyard being entered without my permission and trees being cut to a degree that the shade lost will take decades to grow back. The work they did was excessive and irreversible on old trees that took decades to grow. I am shocked, upset and unhappy with the entitlement that took place on my land while I was out of town. I truly don't understand how someone would think it's okay to work on someone's land without their knowledge. In no way do I feel good about my experience with them.
