I hate to admit it, but we had bedbugs. We have no idea how we got them at all. We haven't stayed in a motel where many times we were told they come from. They were pretty bad in our living room and bedroom. Had them in other places but not as bad. We are senior citizens who recently retired. We started contacting companies who could help us. Some companies talked about using chemicals to rid us of them and some mentioned using heat. Heat sounded more safe to us. So, we contacted a company called Schendle. They came and told us it would cost us $3,000 since it was 2500 sq. ft. They guaranteed the heat treatment would work to kill them all. We reluctantly agreed to pay the $3,000 fee and set the day/time for them to come simply because the thought of these pest and what they do in our nice home was a sickening thought and just wanted the dead. So they can and treated and we paid them the $3,000. Within (30) days, they were back. We were so upset and called the company right away. They said," we must have been somewhere OR someone had been to our house and that's why we had them again. They said they'd retreat the house but, we have to pay again? We now we're furious. That coming Sunday after church service we were discussing what happened with some friends who attend there. They said," 2 yrs ago, they had an issue pretty bad with bed bugs also and they had been referred from their friends to a company called "All Seasons Pest Control". Our friends said, they were husband and wife and they were very friendly and very professional. They said, once their house had been treated with heat as we did, they've never had another single problem since with bed bugs. Their house was bigger than ours and because we asked how much they paid, they said it was right around $2,300. They also said, they contracted with them that if we paid a small monthly fee, if they ever came back, they'd retreat for FREE! My husband and I felt so taken advantage of hearing they paid so much less and had a guarantee if they came back, they'd retreat at no additional. Needless to say, we called All Seasons Pest Control the very next day and told them our entire ordeal in what had happened and we were referred to them from our friends.They remembered our friends names, where they lived and the wife even described their house. The husband recalled what our friends husband even did for a living. That alone told us how personable they were. So, they came and seen the bed bugs were indeed back and gave us their estimate. The husband (Dan/Danny) said for a home this size, we'd typically charge $2100. But, Terri and I discussed on our way here, we were going do it for less than we normally would since you've spent so much more than you should've to begin with. All they asked was for us to spread the word about our company once you see you won't have any bed bugs after we're done treating your home. We said, you rid us if these pest and we will always refer you to our friends or family if they ever have a need for any bugs in their home. Danny told us they'd treat our home for $1,600. My husband and I stood there jaws dropped, mouth's opened and absolutely agreed for them to do their heat treatment for us. It's been over (6) months now and not a single bed bug has been seen. If you have a need bug problem, take it from me and my husband and don't waste time making all the calls and getting estimates. This business is extremely horrible and they have no problem telling lies one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life out of a business and his comments to my review clearly has so many lies but that doesn't surprise me what so ever when you deal with people like these ty of people that is what they do they can never admit to any wrong doing! I have absolutely no one reason to lie it doesn't gain me anything I just want to let others know that they need to be cautious when maki decisions to have someone in their home and when they are having to pay for a service in which these individuals have absolutely no quality, respect, or quality customer service I heard so many excuses for the experience we had to deal with and I have no idea how this man commenting on who paid them for their terrible service was but it just goes to show just how full of it he is bec anyone that would like to contact either myself or the previous owner which, he actually has no clue who the people were so don't know why he would say I made them pay for everything that is far from the truth I actually purchased my home through a friend who was selling the home for the owners who live out of state and I am friends with not only the person who was selling the home for the actual owners I also am friends with the actual owners and I speak to both parties on a pretty regular basis so anyone doubting my truthfulness is more than welcome to look me up on FB and I would be more than happy to provide you with actual proof of this lie! I only want the other consumers out here to know that if you hire this company I only hope you have a better outcome than me and my family did. And as for these owners they can state what ever lies they choose as it doesn't bother me one bit we did everything they asked of us the bottom li is they did not provide us with service that was accepted nor did they ever rid us from bed bugs nor did they plan on it because when business don't show up when they are supposed to how can anyone expect a job to be done with succes! contact schindel I guarantee you they will let you know why their treatment was not effective and they will tell you we were pleasant to work with and they were as well and their first treatment was successful and we were very happy of their service it was nice to know tha there are companies out there who are very professional and you just have to do your research so good luck to anyone wh has to hire a business all I know is this is one lesson I learned and that is all I have to say except I don't know how the man who commented they did everything right can sleep at night knowing he cheated me and I have no idea how many others have had unpleasant experience with them but I know I will never contact them for service again Schendiel was the best and I don't go out and just randomly make complaints on business because I have nothing better to do I don't normally ever do this however this was one time I just felt I needed to let people know what they might be in for! read more
