Any bird seed I've bought from here was always of high quality. No little bugs or shriveled up peanuts from here. We have been getting our dry cat food from here now exclusively. PetCo couldn't compete in price for the quality we are getting here. We figure that by buying better cat food we save on not having to take our cats to the vet for problems so the better food here saves us money in the long run. Try even finding a dry cat food at PetCo with no grain in it. One would think that since cats never eat grain in the wild it should be easy to find a grain free cat food, but that is where Jay Mar comes to the rescue. They also have some cat hair ball gel with catnip in it that our long haired cat loves. Any of the other hairball gel the cat hated and would only eat it if you rubbed it on her paw. I went through this rambling about our cats to show that if it's your cat, dog, lawn, garden, or birds that your trying to find just the right thing for, then try here. The workers are very knowledgeable and helpful too, yet they are very respectful to just let you just look around without being pestering if that is what you want.

We had bad experience here. While finishing picking out items in the shop our young child knocked…read moredown an item and cracked it. Before we could address it a young worker grabbed it from us and said, "I'll take that". When this happened were carrying around approximately $75 in items we planned to buy. We also assumed we were going to pay for or offer to pay for the item or son accidentally knocked down. Before we finished shopping the worker returned and told my wife to pay damages or buy the broken sphere. We then left to pay for only the broken item. While trying to pay for damages and leave the interaction with the owner/manager was bad. She was on the phone, then very rude and lacked any awareness of how to manage a situation like this. She was complaining to us and confrontational about her always taking the short end when people broke things. We left upset and insulted. Instead of leaving and buying several items, including the one we broke. We did find another nursery nearby and had a great experience there. I recommend spending your money somewhere else where it's appreciated.

Upon inspection, the were rotting In the ground. I returned to the store in hopes of either getting them replaced or getting some of my money back. They refused to do either because I didn't keep my receipt and I'm not a member. Normally I would let some like this go but their products are on the expensive side so I would expect quality products and a company that would stand by them. I've purchased similar products at big box stores locally and never once did I have something not come up. I went to Jung's because the other stores were out and I was willing to pay more to get what I needed. I understand they have to have return policies but they could have done something. Other stores would have at least given me a store credit. The did not seem to care at all that they're going to lose my business. They were rather cold, manager included. I'll stick to the big box stores. At least I can count on better return policies and friendly employees.

When I let them know it would be a tenant there to let them in, they canceled my appointment and refused to give me another time or day that they could come and said that this would be lower priority than every single service call they had. Extremely rude and unprofessional and not sure why a homeowner trying to fix their one home for their tenant would be something they are unwilling to do. Absolutely ridiculous and do not recommend.
