Never, in my entire life and I am not exaggerating, have I met a person that is so detailed and wonderful at their entire job. Ben and I have been working together for a couple of years now, and he has really been the rock in my (sometimes crazy!) business transactions. I get a little bit "enthusiastic" at times during the process and Ben has a charismatic and business-minded way to keep me focused and informed. If there is a mortgage dictionary, thesaurus and/or how-to guide, it could be written by Mr. Link himself. Opened account, 5 minutes online. Completed loan app, received response next day. They were only willing to offer $75k. Contacted loan officer to provide additional finance information. Basically was told they don't offer loans in that amount. This is typical of a CU. They make things more difficult than needed and change the rules mid-stream. I've had sim experience with BECU. Additionally, the account that took 5 min to open took 40 min, 3 representatives, and multiple holds, to close, and 10 days to receive your money back via snail mail. I gave 1 star for their dishonest misrepresentation via AI and difficult closing process obviously designed to get you to hang up. Pretty dirty banking policy this day and age.
