She was great when she actually gets around to doing it, but the past year, she is distracted by her kids and family; which is totally fine- just admit it and go on a hiatus so clients aren't left in an anxious mess of confusion. Perhaps even refer out. After her filing an extension for me, then asking me to try and find more receipts to whittle the huge amount down, I was a bit frustrated. But I spent days of my time and did it. When I let her know I found a bit more, I received an automated reply that she was away on vacation yet again. DONE. I just can't wait any longer as we already delayed a new investment to see how our taxes went. And with the huge amount we were going to owe, we couldn't do the investment. So I did find another preparer who did my taxes in one sitting. Low and behold, he finds we owe THOUSANDS less than what she had told us!!! He said she probably forgot to input a few things to come up with those amounts!! DISTRACTED. And the refile we had asked her to do? It's now too late!! We can't do it! This makes me so upset- that's money left on the table! It takes me a long time to find someone I trust. I'd say about 90% of the tax preparers I've spoken to can not manage their time what so ever. I do not get phone calls returned, appointments set up, or any kind of personal consideration. It frustrates me to tears!

I've been very impressed with with Karyn and her staff - big shoutout to Kristi and Sara who keep everything organized and moving along with the portal, and are so friendly and responsive to questions/problems. Turnaround with tax returns is quick and smooth, and fees are reasonable.
