He had a guy come out to do his workplace and said he was good, so we decided to splurge and give ourselves a break by paying someone else to do the heavy lifting this time. Doug, the owner and operator, let us know he was a man short yesterday but didn't want to let us down so he showed up bright and early and got to work. Mowing, edging, raking, and bagging solo for hours without complaint, he stopped only because it was Valentine's Day and he needed to get home to his family, which I appreciated. I couldn't believe he was working so hard on the holiday, and would not have minded if he postponed, but his work ethic would not permit it. He said he'd be back in the morning to finish the job and haul it all away. He showed up with a smile and his assistant this morning and they knocked out the rest and loaded up in a short time. The yard looks great and will be much more manageable this season, and his prices are beyond fair. I was so pleased I gave him a tip, and a hug! Cash was appreciated, but he takes checks and credit cards too. If you have a shaggy, leafy, or otherwise unhappy yard, call Doug and he will do his magic!
