This was the first time I needed a hitch and trailer service from UHaul. While there was a missed step for a part to install, the team there helped me locate the missing part and quickly and effectively installed the hitch and had the van trailer reserved ready to go! They did everything RIGHT! My entire experience from start to finish with the GM and the staff (full time AND part time!) were so very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. The man at the front desk tried to call around to the neighboring Uhaul to see if they had any dollys available but none were. All of this was incredibly time consuming after standing in line for a long time. This incident ended up ruining my moving experience. After the store was unable to resolve my issue I messaged Anthony Summerfield the Uhaul General Manager but he replied with a very unhelpful response. This is the worst service I've ever had from any business during a move. Stay away from this company, Anthony Summerfield does not value his customers as you can see in the screenshots!

Called the office and no answer, doesn't even forward to a call center. Called their toll free number and was on hold forever. When someone finally answered the connection was filled with static and I could barely understand this person. He had me enter a temp code and mumbled something about talking to IT. By the time I got him to answer if that code would be on my app the gate closed and I was stuck again. Had to wait for a customer coming in so that could make a quick exit while the gate was open. No updated gate code on the app. Do better, Public Storage. This is the worst first day to get things done. Update: called customer service again as the app still does not have an updated code. Was told to wait 72 hours for an updated code. Seriously??!? Advised rep that is unacceptable and rep said best she could do was call to see if property manager was on site. Since no one answered she said she could book an appointment for tomorrow for someone to meet me there. What could improve? EVERYTHING.

When I talked to Brittany the manager of the store she rudely told me they are allowed to do what they want. They have a clause in the contract that says they can change without my knowledge and its my problem not hers. A loyal customer of 5 years and two different units she refused to give me a waiver for late fee. They inconveniently has to change the door to my unit because they had to do a repair to the door. I received notice for that but never for a late fee. We also received steep increases in the actual rent price. Be prepared to pay double your initial rate at some point.
