I went to get my nails done right before I go on vacation and I had an alright experience. At first the lady I was with was running behind, and so I was late for work, and it felt rushed a bit as she has other appointments. (Expect a 2 hour appointment if getting nails done with extension) I expected the session to be $50-$60 and it was $73...and she had a vague answer on why. I had a very simple nail idea for most techs and I added nothing extra/fancy. she said for all the detailing, and I think that's a little unfair that because she takes longer and found this difficult, I feel she charged more. I have had nail techs hand draw a little bunny on and she couldn't even do a butterfly or anything else, and I still somehow got charged more. Little disappointed but they still turned out good enough. I thought I had an OK experience but now that I type it out I'm just a little disappointed. They will also stop during the scheduled appointment to answer the phone and I notice they did not wash station or items after the previous customer. I noticed this also being a previous complaint in these reviews. This is my first review and I honestly just wanted to show a photo because there wasn't options on Instagram or online. Make sure you just show them a simple photo. Next time I'm just gonna go in if I just want color but I can just glue on fake nails. read more

I've been getting my nails done here for almost two years. Truthfully I originally tried All Style Nails because of their location which is an elevator ride and about 15 steps from my home but I've stayed because of how happy I am with their services. I've had my nails done by both the husband and wife who own the clinic (and have for almost 10 years) and both are fast and do excellent work. Even though I don't stray too far from my classic style and look they are always consistently exactly to my liking - and super thin! Anytime I've asked for something new or showed a picture I like they've easily been able to recreate the look. They also are very fast and even can sometimes take last min apps or walk-ins. I went here to replace shellac on my nails after reading the mostly positive Yelp reviews. This place is super clean, I even noticed one of the nail technicians wiping down the sink area they have you wash your hands in, in between clients and has a mellow atmosphere, very much different than the super bright atmosphere of most nail salons I've been to. It's been a few days and my nails are still the same quality as the day I got them done. This is my go-to place in Edmonton. Originally from Toronto, I find that not a lot of nail salons in Edmonton match the quality I can find in Toronto. However, All-Style Nails is right up there. I've had a few bad and really bad experiences with shellac from other salons in Edmonton, and had almost given up before finding All-Style. The service is quiet, relaxing and meticulous. I recommend making an appointment beforehand, especially if you want an appointment over the lunch hour. I usually have to call about two weeks ahead. As I type this, my shellac is going 3 weeks strong- after a full three weeks of housecleaning, gardening, surfing, playing in the sand, and lots of other nail-tattering activities! Other than being grown out significantly, there's not even a tiny chip. What!? Although more expensive than other salons ($42 with tax), it's totally worth it. I'm lucky to get 2 weeks out of other manicures, but All-Style's is the right choice if you're depending on having nails that look good over a vacation or work trip where you don't want to take your remover and polish with you for touch-ups! read more

The shellac polish here lasts almost as long as the polish at Yaletown Nail Spa in Vancouver. I've never had a problem booking an appointment same day. Staff members are polite and professional, but not overly friendly. Price point is definitely one of the best in the city for the quality of work that they do. Went here based on other positive reviews, and specifically one reviewer mentioning they have Shellac here. Well, they don't. They use another brand, which is fine except Shellac is supposed to hold up a bit better than similar products. The base used was OPI gel, and IBD color gel. They have lots of colours to choose from... Over 50 I'd say. I got a same day appointment, and it only took 30 minutes. The gel polish has lasted quite well over my weekend of cleaning and bashing my hands on everything. The nail salon itself is the cleanest and most well laid out one I've ever been in. I will definitely be back, soon! Beats having to try to take care of my nails. read more

My friend and I have been here twice, once for a pedicure and once for gel nails. Both times the service has been fantastic and we were taken at our exact appointment time. I believe it is a husband and wife team, I have only had the man and have been pleased with my nails both times. Getting an appointment is recommended as we tried to book twice and they had no openings, but took a walk in after our appointment today so it all depends. I went today for a pedicure and was pleased with the experience. This place is very conveniently located if you're downtown, especially if you're within walking distance and don't have to worry about finding parking. I was able to get a same-day appointment and it was very quiet when I arrived. There was a TV with a movie playing, but not too loud, and it was clean and well-lit -- a nice , inviting atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient. I chose my colour of polish immediately after arriving and was seated right away. The nail technician had good attention to detail and was nice and gentle with my feet. He was also efficient and precise. It was $42 with tax, which I consider reasonable for a decent pedicure. The only drawback is that they don't accept credit cards and there's no tip option on the debit machine, so be sure to have some cash on hand. I went for the first time today based on the high rating that yelp gave, and I'm glad I did. I called for a fill and a pedi, and they squeezed me in just an hour later! I got super lost on my way there and ended up being 10 minutes late, but they still kept my appointment and were wonderfully understanding. The pedicure was basic, but the gel polish he used was fantastic and my toenails look great. As for the fill, he took my embarrassingly grown-out nails and shortened and shaped them to perfection. He asked how I liked to wear them and what I wanted, and then kept to it (even though I was quite vague and unhelpful). Then to top it all off, I had brought my own matte topcoat that I had never tried before, and when we put it on, it looked TERRIBLE!! I was so upset. I'm pretty disappointed. I've been here before and have always received excellent service. Lately, I've been getting my (gel) nails done privately, and I came in today to ask for a simple color-change in polish. I explained that I would be getting my gel polish removed in just a few days, and that I simply wanted the staff at All Style Nails to put regular polish over top. I was rudely dismissed and told that I should get my gel polish shaved down; that there would be a gap between the new polish and the old; that it would chip, etc. After repeatedly explaining that I understood all this and that I just wanted the new color for a few days, I was told they would do whatever I liked -- but not before arguing with me for a good five minutes beforehand. I understand that proper nail procedure is preferred, but I am a semi-frequent customer here, and I shouldn't have to explain myself and argue with the staff-person about what it is I want (and why!) when I need a simple color change. I've been to All Style Nails many times for shellac manicure. Prices are a bit steep, but the quality of the application is excellent, the salon itself is quite clean and comfortable, and the downtown location on 104 st. can't be beat. I also really appreciate their use of acetone-soaked pads to remove the shellac (rather than having you soak your fingertips for an eternity!) It's worth the slightly higher removal fee. Takes walk-ins, although I've been denied a couple times so now I always make sure to call ahead. -1 star for only carrying the Gelish brand. Gelish is perfectly fine and all that but I want my OPI!! read more

I have been coming here for a little over a year now since I moved downtown. Originally, I loved this place! I always got a simple shellac manicure (from the gentleman) or a pedicure from the same gentleman. The last time I went for shellac manicure, I decided to spice things up a bit and asked for an ombre glitter on the nails + showed him a picture. He said "no problem" and proceeded... before long, I noticed that the first attempt he tried was awful... especially the first nail. I decided to cut my losses and just have him fix the worst nail so that they at least looked "ok" from a distance. When I asked him, he said, "No, I can't fix." As a loyal customer, I was really surprised by his blunt and almost angry reaction. The other lady working with him came over to look and said something to him that I didn't understand. They quickly brushed my concerns aside and ushered me to pay and leave. I still left a tip as maybe he was just having a bad day... I came back a couple weeks later for a pedicure on the weekend and they had a new person working who I've never seen before (he was a younger teenage man). HE KILLED MY FEET. I was in constant pain, he scrubbed them so bare that it actually hurt to walk after. I still shudder from the experience. It was so unprofessional and such a hack job. If you go here for a pedicure, RUN if you have this teenage man doing your pedi!!!!! Also, they don't take credit. read more

Great place to get a manicure or pedicure! And very convenient if you live or work downtown. I decided to get a pedicure over my lunch our today. It wasn't busy at all but I have come here later in the day to inquire about their services and the place was buzzing. The space is very clean, open and warm. The windows allow for a lot of wonderful natural light which I love. Upon my arrival, I was greeted and asked to pick my nail polish and then directed to the pedicure station. My esthetician did a great job cleaning up my cuticles and applying polish but more importantly, he made my feet so soft with what seemed like minimal effort. I mean, I almost fell asleep in my chair. That was how relaxed I was. I would definitely come back here again in the future to get my cat nap on and have my feet pampered. read more

I have been going to All Style for a few years now. I get my eyebrows waxed about once a month and I've also had the occasional manicure and pedicure done. It's a nice place for sure and convenient if you go downtown a lot. It's a husband and wife team I believe and they are very professional. Their prices are maybe a bit higher than other places but that's fine with me. The place itself looks very nice on the inside whereas other nail places sometimes look kind of grungy I find. I would recommend All Style if you want professional service in a clean environment. They take appointments and walk-ins and are open 10am to 7pm Monday-Friday and I think Saturday as well. read more

About 12 years ago I had switched jobs and going downtown wasn't convenient, so I tried other salons. I was never happy with the results. Had gel nails done here and they lasted longer than any other place I have tried so far. The girl also made them as thin and natural as she could which made them look even better. This was my first visit to this nail salon & I got a pedicure. It was by far one of the best pedicure's I'v had so far! There was a nice man who served me & he took extra care and time. I was a walk in and it was little no wait! They were very nice to me & the quality of work was very good! I have clauses and usually when I get a pedicure the staff will make a face or sigh making me feel bad about my feet. This usually stops me from getting pedicures at all. I did not have this experience this time and instead was greeted with respect. I've been coming to this salon for two years and it doesn't matter who does my nails, they always turn out exactly the way I want them to and last for a MINIMUM 4 weeks before I need a fill. In the last two years, a total of 5 nails have fallen off before I go in for a fill (I usually go in around the 5 week mark). 9 times out of 10 they have a spot available in the time slot I need and they are super quick (average is an hour)! read more

I have been going to this salon for a short time. I haven't noticed any sterilzing or cleanng of instruments. That has troubled me for sone time now. So now I have a nail infection from acylic nails and foot fungus also. I've been going here for that last year. So next time anyone goes to this salon look for sterilizing solutions and cleaning instruments etc. with soap and water, or alcohol etc. I will not be back. They fool you into thinking that's clean, first look [place looks very nice. But it's the instruments you need to be looking at. read more

I phoned after seeing all the great reviews on yelp to, as a Christmas present for my roommate, for the two of us to get manicures and pedicures. I told the person on the phone I'd never been before and I'd like to book for two people before Christmas. Was very disappointed that she said we don't book new clients around Christmas. Wouldn't that be when you want to acquire new clients? It's like west Edmonton mall saying "sorry, we're at capacity. No more business please." I don't really get this rule but that's okay, however she didn't even offer me an alternative day, I would've come after New Years or something.
