First, I booked an appointment. The day of, I received a phone call from the one I had an appointment with. Forget her name (she's from Nova Scotia). She said she had to cancel for a family medical thing, was I ok with another tech doing my service ? Sure. First time going there, I had no preference. When I arrived though, she was there, but doing a pedicure and manicure on an employee (Daniel? Maybe. The guy that does nails there). He obviously had popped in and she cancelled me to do his pedicure/manicure. Pretty poor taste, she had called me on the phone so I recognized her voice immediately (from NS as well) upon entering and realized what had transpired. I then had Claire do my pedicure and manicure. She was very disgruntled, rude, immature and it's the first manicure I've had that actually hurt. A lot. One month since (ish, just estimating) and my poor nails still have major ridges from her "manicure". There's a huge indent as well where the red line is. I'd never had pain before from a manicure, and thought maybe my nails were just in that bad of shape and didn't say anything. But from the regrowth happening now, I can tell in fact, something went wrong. She stated she had few clients. I can see why. From the whole experience, this salon lacks management oversight, and needs it soon. It's a nice looking salon, but I see why it's not busy. read more

I recently went for a nail appointment to get my bridal nails done for my wedding. While the quality of work was fine. I found the service to be ver poor and staff ill tempered. I requested a small design done on my nails and I had wanted my manicure and pedicure to match. I sent a photo ahead to ensure they could complete the design, which I was assured it would be. I chose a colour and realized I didn't like it after he put on one nail, and requested to try a different colour. I felt they became very short tempered with me. When I requested that they match the design completed on my manicure. They refused stating there was not enough time. Which I would have understood. Except he spent 20 mins from my appointment answering phone calls, and was doing a colleagues nails when my pedicure was being done. We were told we would have 2 technicians helping us with our pedicures, but instead it all was left to one technician. In the end I left in tears. I felt the staff were not interested in helping us. And annoyed with our presence. Truly the worst nail experience I've ever had. read more

I am incredibly impressed with Khrome nail bar, everything was spotless and the service by the nail tech was great along with the cocktail I got while getting my mani pedi. I had their Khrome Spritz and it was so delicious, even better then I have had in a restaurant lol. The entire experience start to finish was flawless and I couldn't be happier with it. Booked 2 pedicures for my girlfriends bday got there at 5 and no more cocktails not a huge deal but would have been nice to know. The attitude of the 2 people doing our nails was just BAD....they complained about how they were closing and other things that should not be talked about in front of customers.... a real buzz kill and so unprofessional but the real kicker was the price 170.00(with out tip)for 2 pedicures???When I got home and looked they had charged my for the luxury pedicure...not what I had asked for, also I was charge for removal of nail polish that I did not have on. If the people that worked there had gone over this I would have known but the only thing they asked was what color? If you want a overly expensive pedicure with people that have the personality's of a wet mop then its right up your ally!! Sure its done up nice but the atmosphere was more like a funeral home then a fun place to go. read more

I'm not someone to leave negative reviews, I'm really not someone to complain either but I was getting an acrylic fill and colour change. My appointment was at 3:15 I didn't get my nails done by the tech until around 4ish and then I was there until 5:40. For a fill and colour change! Thankfully the lovely receptionist started my colour removal at 3:20ish or who knows how long I would have been there. Not to mention I felt like the girl doing my nails was inconvenienced by me being there. Which made me pretty uncomfortable! On top of it all, I paid around 80 dollars with tip... kinda regret tipping but I felt like I had to... I also feel like I should mention the colour was not even and there were spots that up close look like she missed completely. I'm going to try one other tech and then decide whether to come back again. But I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone. read more

Went with my daughter to have nails done before her wedding. there was some miscommunication about what I was booked in for, so only ended up with regular nail/manicure. The girl who was doing my nails refused to accommodate me as she said she was too busy, certainly didn't appear that way as no one else was there. My nails looked terrible when I left, and most of the nail polish peeled off the next day. I ended up getting them redone somewhere else before the wedding. Horribly overpriced and terrible service. Not only is this place extremely judgemental and unwelcoming. I was judged as soon as I walked in and disregarded because I did not want to engage in the gossip by the manager and other employees. I love supporting local women owned businesses as they portray themselves however learnt that most of their locations are involving men as investors or partners. Given the reputation of the owners I decided to still give them a chance and first hand experienced what many have told me to be true about them. read more

Honestly, for the price go elsewhere. The technicians are not trained enough for the salon to be charging such high prices. They were decent when they first opened but all the "skilled" techs left because they operate bad business. read more

I've been here once, and I had a really great experience. Shea did an amazing job on my luxury pedicure with gel polish. It lasted like 6 weeks. My nails grew out before the polish started to chip/peel. The facility is clean and it's so fun to have a drink or two while having your nails done. I'm going back again this week. read more

I went back after the manager reached out about my review. They offered me a new set of nails at no cost. The manager assigned me to a new technician, who took a great deal of time to re-do my nails. She was great. If I do come back I will be asking to get assigned to the new technician. read more

I received a pedicure from this salon. The technician dropped a tool twice on the ground and picked it up and continued to use it on me which is unsanitary. The technician did not put water in the bowl until she finished my pedicure which is odd because usually they will fill the bowl with warm water and place your feet in the tub. She started my pedicure on my dry feet and then when she was done she put my feet in the water. Why the backwards method? Then she rubbed my legs for 2 minutes and charged me $80.00. It was just a really odd experience and I dont recommend coming here. read more

I decided to book in with Khrome as I had heard good things and their work on social media looked good. However I was disappointed. The staff acted very unprofessionally (talked about upcoming/past clients and not wanting to have to stay late in front of clients being serviced). While my nails turned out nice, the price did not justify at all what I got (most likely added some costs at time of checkout instead of the cost I expected at booking). Definitely the worst nail salon I have EVER been to. It's a gorgeous place but the services are severely overpriced for what you get. Was there for about 75 mins for a gel pedicure and the part where they scrub your feet and massage lasted less than 5 mins. I just got back home and my feet are still severely dry, they look no different than from when I left. On top of that, they charge 15 for French tip and 10 bucks every time you go to remove the gel. I've never been to a salon that charges you to remove the gel you got there... every other salon does it complimentary if your last pedicure was with them. I spent $85 for essentially a gel polish change as there was no relaxation or any actual benefit to my feet as she barely scrubbed them and massaged for literally 30 seconds each leg. Save yourself the money and go literally anywhere else. read more

I have been there twice, and the first time, was told to wait for 40 minutes before my appointment, and ended the shellac polish appointment TWO HOURS later with mis matched shaping and lengths. The second time I booked an appointment for a girlfriend and myself and called twice to confirm the time to make sure I didn't have to wait longer to start again. Once I showed up, I found out they hadn't actually booked two appointments, just one, even though I was very clear and confirmed beforehand. Not quite sure if it's worth going back to see what issue will pop up next. I'm not sure if the owners know how to run a business because they take merchandise off the shelf that is for sale and start wearing it in the middle of the work day. That's not how you make a sale, what if a client wants it later? I saw a girl so upset because the owner started wearing a scrunchie she had wanted to purchase. And the owner didn't even apologize or offer her a new one. read more

The spa looks fancy, but the service is far from it. I had booked a luxury pedicure for me and a friend on a Saturday. They tried to cancel my appointment only an hour before the start time, which I hadn't checked my voicemail en route so I wasn't aware until later. When I arrived they tried to tell me I had booked the shorter classic pedicure and said they only had time for that one and seemed quite put out, but my friend and I agreed to the shorter one. My technician tried to rush through so fast that she scraped the skin off of my heel so hard it bled. Even though I pulled away and said owe, she just laughed as if I was being too sensitive. I couldn't see the back of my heel at the time though, so it wasn't until later that I noticed she was attempting to change the towels under my feet, because there was blood all over the first one from my heel! To top all that off, the heat didn't seem to be working at all, during a -30 day and we weren't offered anything to keep us warm. My friend asked for a blanket and was given a lot of attitude from the staff. I can understand the heat was not their fault, but they could have offered guests a free hot beverage or blanket upon arrival rather than acting like we were being too needy. read more
