I owe my quality of life to Dr Kim and her amazing knowledge of chiropractic care!!!! I have been going to Dr Kim for many years now for a chronic condition. Thanks to her and her staff, I am living a normal life and she keeps me almost pain free and that is a HUGE accomplishment! Most people that have Chiari Malformation and Syringomelia take pain pills several times every day and still some are in walkers and wheelchairs. I only take pain medicine a couple times a month and I walk my neighborhood with friends!!! Dr Kim is not your typical chiropractor. Jason is an exceptional chiropractor. Professional, quality, and integrity are three words I would use to describe him while I was in his care. Excellent advise on stretches, muscle memory, and future care. I came in with severe back pain and although my pain only slightly reduced (I had to quickly relocate to another state for a job relocation), that doesn't take away from the professionalism and quality of care I received. When I first visited with Dr Maggio I was in a lot of pain and he seemed compassionate and eager to help me find relief. But after I paid up front for so many appointments I soon felt like just another number. Literally. Whether you make an appointment or not, when you arrive in his office you take a number and wait your turn. When my number would come up I would only be in his little cubicle for 5 minutes or less. And I was charged $75 for each of those visits! I should clarify. That isn't his normal fee. During the time span that he was "treating" me I was rear ended while driving to a clients job sight. Since I was now in worse pain and needed to take time off of work to let my neck heal, I filed for workers comp. And there began the downward spiral of my professional relationship with Dr. Maggio. WC was giving him the run around and not paying. Every time I stepped into his building I felt the tension. He didn't really want me there. I told him that I would stop coming until WC worked it out. He assured me that eventually they would pay and that I would even get money back since I had paid $1200 up front for so many treatments but didn't receive them all before the accident. Fast forward a few months: WC still hasn't paid because they claimed that Dr. Maggio had not produced certain paperwork that they required. Eventually he was asked to appear in court to provide those records. Well he didn't show up at court and the result was a pretty hefty fine. I can't remember if it was $1000 or $2000. Regardless it was the nail in my coffin. He was so mad that I was extremely uncomfortable seeing him after that. Even though I was still in pain I stopped going. It was too stressful for both of us. Months go by and finally the insurance company of the driver who rear ended me settles with me. By this point I've been laid off for taking so much time off to deal with my neck problem, even though I was on WC. My husband is on disability. Needless to say we were struggling financially. I was shocked and dismayed to find out that Dr. Maggio had filed a lien against the insurance settlement. Before I could get the already small amount of the settlement, he demanded to be paid $4000. This was on top of the $1200 I had already paid him personally! I asked for a copy of the bills and when I saw that he charged me $75 for those little 5 minute sessions, I was sick to my stomach. I'm assuming he inflated the fees because he knew how insurance companies operate. They will only pay a percentage of what's billed. So I suppose he thought if he charged more than double the normal fee perhaps he would get at least half of that. But neither the car insurance company nor WC paid him so I had to pay him personally those unreal inflated fees. So no, I would never recommend anyone go to All the Way Chiropractic. They perform a nice dog and pony show up front but it's just a means to an end, your wallet. It's not about the patient and their needs. That really saddens me. I was so hopeful in the beginning. But here I am still in pain, worse than ever now with both hands going numb from nerves in my neck being pinched by a herniated disk. I've started going back to a chiropractor I was seeing before I ever met Maggio. I wish I had never left this particular doctor for the big talk and promises offered up by Maggio. I gave 1 star only because I had to to write this review...no stars is my choice. I am in total agreement with Charlotte J and her review. This office is all about the money. Long story short, I was extremely dissatisfied with the care that I was receiving from Dr. Maggio and decided to take another route AFTER paying $1248 out of pocket up front on my Care Credit card. Needless to say the balance of a little over $500 still has NOT been refunded to my card and its been over a month since my last visit. I called and spoke to Brenda who told me that the refund was issued on 11/13/17 but when I called the card company tonight I was told that they have not received a refund request and that it only takes 48 hours to process. I have filed a dispute with the card company and will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well. The entire office (doctors and staff) are extremely unprofessional, uncaring and leave you feeling like you do not matter. Please don't let the caring attitude suck you in because it will not last...its only good til your money is their money at which time you become just another number. The first RED flag should have been them asking for money up front to pay for a certain amount of treatments. I have gone to other chiropractors for years and have never been asked to pay for anything up front...only for the services received that day and have never been charged $70 a visit. read more
