Paperwork was too lengthy 1: The iPad was difficult to operate. I would somehow miss a question, then have to go back to find it. 2: The questions were repetitive and difficult to answer with names and dates from 50 years ago! 3: The CYA disclaimers were lengthy and unclear. I was not going to agree to something I didn't understand. After the general question about pain, possible cause, frequency, location and length of time, a good doctor would then be able to examine a patient and determine a treatment. I spent about 30 minutes filling out forms before frustration set in and I excused myself. read more

I have been a member for the past 2 months and have seen the doctor only a few times due to the doctor not being available during open hours. I have attempted to come 6 times in the last month during open hours and was told the doctor was not in. I was given a schedule of the doctors hours and came during that time to find out the doctor was actually off that day. The doctors are great at what they do, but paying $60 a month for a service you can't receive doesn't make sense. I would recommend going somewhere where appointments can be made. Especially if you work it is almost impossible to see the doctor. read more

I was referred here by a friend. I've done chiropractic in the past when my insurance covered it. Unfortunately my insurance now doesn't cover it. However, for $59 a month, it doesn't need to. I can go 4 times a month and lay $10 A visit after I use my 4 visits. My first visit yesterday was exceptional. The doctor took a thorough amount of time. She made sure to explain everything to me and even asked me to come back in the afternoon for more work (all included in the same visit). After the 2nd visit yesterday I felt great. And last night I slept so well. She suggested I come back 2-3 times this week to get squared away. I went back and met Dr. Peters today. Had another adjustment and it felt great. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and family. After this week I will go once a week for maintenance unless I tweak my back. Go. You'll thank yourself. read more

Came on a Monday and there was a chiropractor who is not the regular chiropractor. I've been going to chiropractors for 20+ years and related as much and still bad to endure the intro to chiropractics. The adjustment was useless and I feel just as bad now as I did when I went in. Even after her self declared "best neck adjustment around." I've been to MUCH more professional chiropractors and had far far better adjustments. I hope the regular doctor for this practice is not a reflection of the Monday practitioner. read more

They do not except insurance. The first visit cost $29. The Doctor asked me several questions about why I'm here. He explained what a chiropractor does and what type of treatment I needed. He adjusted my back and it was amazing. They have several packages you can buy and wellness packages. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the doctor was very attentive and informative. read more

I went in for some back pain. I have had chiropractor services in the past help ease my pain. I went to get pain relief and instead ended up in excruciating pain. It's been two weeks and I am still unable to walk. I can't do simple things like just standing. I have a herniated disc in my lower back. I am at fault as well because I believed it would get better. My husband went and was initially having very minimal pain. He just wanted to get adjusted. He left in pain. That pain has been consistent and has Left him in a similar situation. We had both gotten the membership because it was a great deal at the time. Mine was refunded after they deducted the cost of my visit and my husband, who was only seen once, will Not be refunded. im extremely unimpressed. The staff was very friendly, but the treatment was not good. There were a few people who had complained while I was on the table. One was an older woman who yelled out in pain Because she was being man handled and was experiencing horrible hip pain. There was a guy who I worked with my fist appointment who was amazing! Ryan I believe. He listened and was great and he was the reason I went back the second time. He recommended his coworker and said she would be able to help me. That was not the case. I'm extremely disappointed with this location as well as myself for not doing better research. read more

I limped into this place three weeks ago barely able to walk. It was a struggle for me to go to the grocery store. After numerous adjustments over the past 21 days I cannot say enough good things about The Joint in Shreveport and the Dr.'s that I have seen there. Dr. Jeremy Broussard and Dr. Tammie Gibson are awesome. I have spent so much money on orthotics and orthopedic shoes over the last several years because of pain in my lower body. (Legs, feet and knees). I have been to the podiatrist and received steroid shots in my feet (didn't work) Had an MRI done on one of my feet just to be told that there was nothing else they could do for me other than tell me to wear a boot and immobilize my foot as much as possible??? Dr. Tammie at The Joint told me immediately that the problems in my hips, legs and feet were being caused by misalignment. I was skeptical but was willing to try anything as I had been dealing with pain and discomfort for more than two years. And now, three weeks later, I feel better than I have in years. I thought I was for sure headed for knee and hip replacement. Not any more. I love this place!! Thanks for giving me my life and my mobility back! read more

I've been a client of the Joint since shortly after they opened. Their current doctor, Dr Gibson, is excellent, as was her predecessor. I have been very happy with both the health care (no magical claims, just science) and the interactions with the support staff, who any business owner will tell you make or break your business. There were issues at the location previous to current doctor and staff, but the current set up is ideal. I recommend them to my clients. read more
