I had our wedding anniversary date engraved on the back of a small locket for my wife. The staff was very helpful in helping me choose an appropriate typeface for the engraving, ensured the back of the locket was able to be engraved upon, and also made sure I triple checked to make sure I had the right date (which is very key...) The engraving came out exceptionally well - particularly for someone like me, who has an eye for detail, and insistence on well-centered and well-spaced lettering borderlines on OCD. The engraving was done quite quickly, and I was called immediately when it was done, so I could pick it up. To top it off, the cost was very reasonable. Dan engraves what nobody else can or will. I googled, called, and drove (literally) all over the greater Nashville area to have a gun part engraved IAW federal specifications. Nobody could do it, and the place they suggested couldn't do it...and so on. After blowing an entire day on a wild goose chase, I was finally referred to All Things Engraved by Nashville Gun & Knife. AWESOME customer service & craftsmanship! My husband had a 14kt gold medical alert pendant that needed to be updated due to an organ transplant. The anti-rejection RX is needed twice a day & critical to the success of his transplant. I was willing to purchase a new pendant, but happened to wonder if the old information could be buffed out & the pendant reused. I sent an email asking if this was possible; Rachel answered me in less than 10 minutes! I took the pendant in to be looked at along with the new information. And they did it ! All Things Engraving has their newest life-long customer! I had waited until the last minute for a very special gift for my husband. I wanted an item engraved with his mother's handwriting (this was a gift for him on the one year anniversary of her passing). However, I needed it THAT same day! As far as leather embossing, I would not go back. I took in a leather journal to be stamped with a monogram. You could see two of the three letters, but their response was "we did the work, you have to pay." Not worth the time and money. read more
