If you call them and then call another company but the same woman answers, just hang up because it is this company just using a different name and phone #. My guess is they are having to constantly operate under different names and numbers because of how they treat their clients! Here is my crazy cab company from hell story... I had checked out taxi services prior to arriving to the place where I was going to have to call them...I had just sold my beloved old vehicle to a parts place, so I called this company I had previously spoken with to come give me a ride back to where my new car was parked. They had quoted me a very reasonable rate of $30. So the driver shows up. I had forgotten to mention that I had my old service dog with me since he is with me wherever I go and it's almost never a problem. When I got in the cab, the driver told me it was an extra $5 for the dog. I told him it was illegal to upcharge people who have service animals...you can't even charge cleaning fees for service animals, even though the cabs seats were leather, my dogs hair is very short and there was no shedding on the seat which even if a hair or 2 dropped there could be easily wiped off. You can charge the owner if the animals destroys something, but it is totally illegal to upcharge AT ALL for service animals. I tried to speak with them but he said that was not possible for some reason. The phone I had did not have reception so I was stuck relying on him to put me on the phone with them, but when I called later, the lady confirmed the extra charge to me and the fact that they do not give receipts and then hung up on me. Anyway, after a few minutes of my telling him it was illegal to charge extra for service animals, the driver said he would drop the charge this time, but next time I should be prepared to pay it (as if there would ever be a next time). He then demanded full payment UP FRONT for the ride for the ride and although I was actually about to pay him, I asked for a receipt and he said he didn't give receipts! Why in the world would I pay him cash upfront and not get a receipt? Especially someone who was only giving me attitude since I got into the car? So that he could claim he never received any money from me? Probably. I then said I wasn't going to pay him upfront since he wasn't going to give me a receipt (and to ask someone to do this is pretty outrageous and unprofessional anyway). He then demanded I get out of the cab! At this point I WANTED to get out of the cab, so I told him I would gladly, but we had driven a ways from where he had picked me up, so I said after he drove me back to where he picked me up from I would gladly get out of his cab. He then refused to drive me back to where he picked me up from and wanted me just to walk back! Had I not had my 65 pound dog with me, who knows what would have happened! I do carry mace and can to an extent defend myself, but this guy was much bigger than me. How could a simple cab ride get this crazy? He then muttered something about me wasting his time!! I then told him HE had wasted MY time!! I consider this company irresponsible and in fact dangerous. I would not use them at all, EVER! STAY AWAY!! If I could give them zero stars I would. The drivers blast the sirens even when there is no traffic to clear and sounds as if they are just playing with the sirens like kids! It's very disruptive to the neighborhood. We have had a hard time lifting her from her bed, but the drivers with WellCare are cautious and help us get her into a wheelchair and into their van safely. I am so thankful for their help and services, their prices were reasonable and their service is always up to par. I will definitely be coming to them next time we need transportation for elder family members. I would recommend them to others because the drivers are very patient and cautious and caring. They also have gurney service, they have their own oxygen tanks, trained EMT's, and other supplies per request.

I am documenting an extremely serious and unacceptable incident involving WellCare transportation…read more As the facility social worker, I attempted to contact WellCare six separate times regarding a transportation discrepancy involving one of our patients. My calls were either completely unanswered or sent directly to voicemail, despite the urgency of the situation. WellCare transportation was responsible for transporting the patient to their scheduled appointment and returning the patient safely back to our facility. Instead, the patient was abandoned at the appointment location. When our facility contacted the drop-off location, we were informed, "These two men got mad because the patient was not ready and left." This is absolutely unacceptable. Transportation personnel becoming frustrated does not justify leaving a patient behind, particularly when they were specifically responsible for the patient's safe return to the facility. Their actions created an unnecessary and potentially dangerous situation and raise serious concerns regarding patient abandonment, neglect, and WellCare's ability to ensure the safety of the patients entrusted to its transportation services. Equally concerning is the fact that I made six attempts to contact WellCare without receiving appropriate assistance or a response. There is no reasonable justification for a facility being unable to reach anyone when a patient has been left stranded due to the actions of contracted transportation personnel. Our facility takes this incident extremely seriously and will be filing a formal grievance regarding both the conduct of the transportation personnel and WellCare's failure to respond appropriately. We expect this matter to be investigated immediately, including identifying the transportation personnel involved, determining why the patient was left behind, reviewing why repeated calls for assistance went unanswered, and providing a clear explanation of what corrective measures will be implemented to ensure this does not happen to another patient. Leaving a patient stranded because transportation personnel became "mad" is indefensible and will not be minimized or dismissed as a simple transportation error.
