Although they were coming from a much further distance (2.5 hours), they were still able to be very competitive on prices and were available the specific day I wanted to move. On the morning of, I learned that they had another job scheduled for their 20' truck so they rented a 24' from U-Haul (no additional cost to me). They were very professional and prepared with tools and blankets. They loaded/unloaded the truck in a timely manner and did so deliberately and securely. I appreciate the great care they took with our possessions and that they used the blankets generously. They were very communicative overall. I will recommend and would use their services again.

These were the absolute slowest movers ever. They would wait until you turned the corner and then start to hustle. The issues seemed endless... to start, the building manager started with me because they blocked the FIRE EXIT!- who does that? They yelled at each other- cursed constantly (my mother was there) During the quote it was explained that extra boxes and tape were included.... not true. They didn't even bring extra- I had to go down the street and pay out of pocket. They ran out of the packing blankets and made me pay for the packing saran wrap they used! - but waited until the very end to let me know. It was taking so long that my mother and I started to disassemble some of the furniture. They GOOGLED me on the way to the second locations and started asking me questions about me. I had furniture damaged because the forced it instead of angling. I had to assist with getting some of the furniture upstairs because they couldn't figure out the angle. I reached the owner and told him of my experience. He requested and email with all the info- which I did send... and never heard back. I do not like to leave poor reviews- but this experience was awful.

We had a ton of small stuff and managed to box a fair amount, while the stuff in storage was literally just packed in floor to ceiling. We were scheduled to close at the end of June so I foolishly started calling around maybe 10 days prior for a mover, thinking it would be slow before college students moving back in...was I wrong. I called all of the big names first, and even with their fleet of trucks most were either booked solid or charging outrageous fees. So I checked out Yelp* to see what they could suggest and of course right at the top was Bee's Moving. Having never heard of them (since I never move, ha ha!) I was at first skeptical, especially when they told me they could move me on the date requested, then quoted me a price. (a little back story: my wife owns a commercial treadmill like those found in gyms, it weighs well over 600lbs., the company that initially moved it into our condo quoted me literally $100/lb., but Bee's charged me a fifth of that!!) After reading the reviews here I decided to book with them and waited for the big day. Remember that horrible heatwave we had at the end of June into July? Yeah, they moved all of our stuff in that with no issues whatsoever. Everything was handled carefully and professionally, they were overly polite and made sure I was completely satisfied with their service. Now comes the "above and beyond" part most people hope to get with a moving company. We had a new rather expensive washer and dryer, and there was now a dime-sized scuff on it, which had no effect whatsoever on it working properly. It is to be expected that sometimes things like this happen, esp. when moving so much stuff. Did Bee's try to place blame elsewhere? No. Did they ignore me hoping I'd just move on? No, it took one call and they more than resolved the issue, even making sure to personally followup to make sure we were satisfied. Now think about it: how many times do you REALLY need a moving company? Now factor that in with how great they were AFTER the move. Look, moving can be nerve wracking, esp. when some are known to "tack on" fees after the fact, or you find your valuables in less than ideal condition. If you have more money than brains, feel free to use one of the big names here, hope they won't do any the above, let alone have an open booking at a GOOD price. I feel so confident from my experience with them, that I could literally guarantee that EVERY move with them would be just as great, I can't say enough how great Matt, Brandon and their crew really were. After living through a house fire, the only thing that has been as great as finally moving into a new home has been doing it with this company.

They made quick work of unloading the U-Haul. Making even the biggest pieces of furniture look easy. Whole job was done in 45 minutes and they got a desk up the stairs and inside that we would have had to leave on the curb - still not sure how they did it - real pros! It's sad to see a family run business for generations isn't what it used to be anymore. They have to charge more than normal to be higher than the other prices to profit It's unfortunate but if you want to save money you should go right to the source. Most customers have no idea this is the case and believe their stuff is being processed where they are dropping it off but it's not. Your stuff gets shipped around. Its a "drop spot" not a "dry cleaner".
