Understanding that businesses are extremely behind in work I did not fault them for not starting around the time that they stated they would. My quote included pressure wash of the entire house exterior and one of two decks as well as deck stain and paint trim (to trim that was wood). We conversed with each other to verify colors. I reached out to inform them that the deck was not pressure washed. They gave me a response indicating when it might get done. My deck was NEVER pressure washed prior to the stain application. I'm sure this must play into the fact that there are areas that are not evenly stained (or brush vs sprayer??). They specifically asked me for the color of my trim. I informed them that it was an off white/cream color. They stated they would color match. Not only was the metal on my house painted (which I did not want to have happened) but it was painted stark white! Additionally they did not paint ALL of the metal trim. The trim along the top edge on every side was not done. Which, if it was the correct color, wouldn't matter but because it isn't, it stands out like a sore thumb. There was damage to the trim around one of my second floor windows. The strapping along side the fireplace was also not replaced even after I raised this as an issue. The amount of paint chips that were left following the house being pressure washed was outrageous! If I had known that this was going to happen, I may have been able to prepare more appropriately. I have damaged plants; burnt grass from paint on my lawn, random rags left behind etc. The list continues. While the painting itself was done well; all of these other factors have overshadowed the good work. It would have been nice for someone to check in when the job was complete to ensure we were satisfied. None of this happened. I can not provide a positive review nor do I feel comfortable recommending this business to others moving forward. I emailed them to articulate my concerns and I received no response.

Victor and his team delivered - to an extraordinarily level of quality, while being on time and on budget, with great communication throughout the process. Roni (the owner) provided a free, same-day estimate after visiting our home for interior painting. Throughout the paint project, he constantly and thoroughly explained each day's tasks. He scheduled a time and personally came out with a team within a few days to do an initial assessment, and the carpenter, Horacio, came back the next morning to remove the siding and get an idea of the full damage. Unfortunately it turned out to be much worse than we expected due to Improperly installed windows, however Marc and Horacio were able to provide a quick and reasonable estimate, and start work a few days later. Even though we were on vacation at the time, we received text updates with photos, and the house looked good as new by the time we got back. I would highly recommend LIME, and will not hesitate to use them in the future!

I had a great experience having John Kearns and Countryside repaint the exterior of our Somerville…read morethree-story. The pricing was clear and they checked about any additions beforehand. They kept the yard clean, with no smoking/music, and thorough site protection from lead while scraping. John painted a number of samples of our red siding colors on the house so we could find the match we liked, and also took care of matching the cream and blue colors. He and the crew also made some recommendations (like painting the downspouts and adjusting the deck color to match the rest of the house better), but didn't press if I decided differently. They also identified areas that needed wood repair (fascia, siding, porch base) and did those very nicely, again with clear pricing ranges up front. The couple times I wasn't happy with something, they fixed it right away. There was a tricky spot to reach on a 3rd floor dormer, and when I called it out they went back and got it. And the crew scraped/prepped a railing that I had initially not asked to be repainted, but they just included it in the repainting without charging extra.
