So, I scheduled a day and a time for them to come over and give me a quote. Another thing that I liked was their price was so much better from the others companies that I got a quote from. They were very meticulous in making sure our furniture was covered and when finished painting everything was put back as it was. Everyday they arrived promptly at 8:00AM and left at 5:00PM. Our condo was painted with two coats of paint to the walls. They also did our ceilings and trim. Also our kitchen cabinets were removed to be prepped and painted. On a second call I was told that the company was not responsible, there was no guarantee and our only option was to repaint at full cost. They would not come and look. Recently we decided to change some wall mounted light fixtures. When we tried to remove the old ones we discovered they hadn't been removed during the painting, just painted around. The new fixtures we had purchased would have left unpainted surfaces showing and the whole wall would need repainting I would not use this company again and would advise anyone using to check the work thoroughly.

So far, I have had no issue with quality of work, but only time will tell. However, I have had a lot of difficulty communicating with them as a business during both the estimation phase and the work phase. Phone calls go unreturned, promised return phone calls never happen, and sometimes people just don't show up. My biggest issue was with some carpentry work to repair rotten boards and trim in preparation for pressure washing and painting of the exterior of the house. They refused to give me any estimates for the work we discussed, they used very expensive materials in the repairs instead of the same materials that were being repaired, did not notify me about this or give me a choice, they were slow in doing the repairs and charged me way more labor hours than it should have taken. Their labor hours even included their lunch breaks. In the end, I was handed an invoice that was far beyond my expectations. Trying to negotiate a reasonable discount of 20% was like talking to a brick wall. Be very careful in dealing with Corriveau Painting and get estimates.

He's the type of person who acts like he's doing you a massive favor by showing up, then gets angry when you expect basic professionalism in return. There are dozens of painting companies in the area that will treat you with respect, communicate clearly, and actually fix what they messed up. This is not one of them. Save yourself the headache and the money. Go anywhere else. Thomas - if you're reading this: maybe try being less hostile to the people who are paying you thousands of dollars. They were easy to communicate on Yelp and over text as well to set up the estimate and start the job. I was lucky because I had a three week window for the painting job to get done and Angeleu Enterprises had an opening the very next day after the estimate. A team of three arrived at 9:00 am and they were able to sand, do one coat of primer, and two coats of paint and finish by 7:00 pm. I'm happy with the paint job and I will call Angeleu Enterprises again for other paint or carpentry jobs.
